Stayed two nights in Jetty room / two bed apartment. Very comfortable great bed. Great water view particularly at sunset and only five minute walk to town. Restaurant is shut Monday nights don't go to pub near train station food is ordinary. Very quiet part of town.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed it. The place was clean and the room was fully equipped, overlooking the water. It is conveniently located within walking distance of both the Gordon River Cruise departure point, as well as the Wilderness Railway train station. I left my sunglasses in the room when I checked out and was on the...

Warm and comfortable with excellent location. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on a Monday night and being off season we found it very difficult to get food in Strahan that evening. Only place open was the small pub which really couldn't cater for the hungry tourists. Risky Cove itself was lovely and I wouldn't hesitate to book in again although...

We came in the middle of a cold winter and considered off-season. We got excellent service nevertheless. My partner remarked that he has the warmest and most convenient room for us ready and that the whole cabin was warmed up and cozy by the time we arrive. There were heaters too for the towels. I spent a fine afternoon looking...

We had a Queen Studio for a night. Even though the weather wasn't good, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist and explained many things about the hotel, the sights, things to do, etc. We had dinner in the restaurant of the property. Food was great, but quite expensive in terms of its portion. The room was comfortable with a...

We stayed a few nights at Risby Cove in early July and found it to be very relaxing and easy. The room was very clean with a great view out over the water. Easy walk into town and the restaurant down stairs made for absolute simplicity which was exactly what we wanted. The staff were all very friendly and helpful...

We had a 2 bedroom apartment, with uninterrupted harbour view, very warm oasis in the middle of winter. Complete with electric blankets, warmed towel racks, complimentary port and chocolates, friendly, efficient after hours check-in. Very comfortable lounge, and walking distance to boat cruise departure.

The location was excellent , with great views looking out over the bay. Staff were friendly and obliging. The room was very good , except for the Queen bed which tendered to roll us into the center, making for a broken sleep. Reported to be an excellent restaurant, with good menu and prices, but unfortunately we were unable to try...
