Paid AUD 200.00 for one night. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and it the room is small but really nicely furnished and laid out with a lovely view over the water. Everything was very clean, there were some DVDs beside to TV to try if you so wished, but the Wifi was quite poor from most areas...

Ok, it doesn't look super flash, and it could be seen as dated in style, and you enter through an old railway station, but this was our nicest stay in Tasmania. It is spotless and has an array of treats provided by the caring owners to make you feel welcome. Rooms are of good size and the bed is luxurious....

Stanley Village hotel is located along the waters edge in the township. We arrived and got exactly what we booked. Two waterfront rooms, side by side, to accommodate our family with our young teens within supervision distance. The rooms were clean, generously equipped, right down to the ear plugs provided because of the noisy Little Penguins who come and go...

We stayed in the ground floor deluxe suite and it was beautiful. Very modern bathroom and the coffee machine was a great addition but the main attraction was the views across the harbour and they were stunning. It was very relaxing and peaceful sitting by the window and sipping on a scotch while watching sun set over the picturesque eastern...

Reception was helpful upon check in. Room appeared clean, had a horrible smell to it, found dirty used tissues next to the bed. Shower hadn't been cleaned properly and spa jets had hair on them. Wine glasses in the cupboard were dirty and had finger marks all over them.

Wonderful location. Great hotel/motel stay. Rooms very clean and well appointed with a great waterfront view. Full buffet breakfast set in a yesteryear railway station cosy feel steeped in history. All withing easy walking distance of Stanley Village which reminds one of a quaint old english seaside fishing village setting with the backdrop a huge volcanic mound. A must visit...

From checking to departure the service was brilliant. I stayed on business trip. The room was extremely clean and we'll appointed. Flat screen TV, coffee pod machine, I pod dock, dvd player and movies, spa bath (single) large bar fridge and mini bar and air con/heating. Even the little things are thought off, chocolates on the bed, bathrobes and ear...

Room was fantastic. Looks modern, clean and decent. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Ordered grilled fish of the day and lamb. It tasted so we'll both my wife and I finished everything in plates. Ear plug were given because there are a lot of seagulls at night but both my wife n I slept soundly without the ear plug....

Stanley is known for it's endearing fairy Penguins, something you are bound to catch a glimpse of if you choose to stay in this motel. The cottages (which we opted for) are renovated to fit their purpose whilst dutifully maintaining their sea-side, cosy aura. I was amazed at how close to nature i really was. One such night saw me...

When it comes to staying in Stanley, the only place to stay is on the waterfront at Stanley Village. Stanley Village is a boutique waterfront hotel and restaurant nestled under The Nut, within walking distance of activities in the township. THE BOND STORE restaurant is located in the historic bluestone building built in 1835 from ships ballast. Our fully licensed a-la-carte restaurant serves the finest in locally grown produce specialising in superb steak and succulent seafood.
