The sweeping views are spectacular, hosts Frank & Julia, offer 4 seoerate en suite rooms, linked to a communal kitchen and lounge area. Expected this place to be lovely and was pleased to see it was just that - Julia and frank welcomed us late afternoon on a drizzly afternoon and had the lovely barrel fire making the common room cosy and warm - got a tour of kitchen and room - which was clean and well set out . We'd organised to...

In my opinion the Farm stay is overpriced for what is on offer and there is better value for money close by. Advertised as a working farm which is exactly what it was and we were looking forward to a welcome change but in my opinion there is a difference between dated and rustic. Unfortunately unsuitable for us - my...

Management response:

Yes, they certainly did not do their homework. From the start there was nno comments made on the magnificent views or the beauty of the surrounding environment and gardens. The expression on faces right from the start suggested they had made a mistake. This was definitely not what they expcected. They are the only guests ever in almost 20 years...

Thanks Julia and Frank for the hospitality. The lamb roast and sausages were the best ever. The new Kitchen, lounge and dinning area was a real hit. The rustic feel of what was the old milking shed, is now warm and cosy. The gardens and setting is beautiful with the most amazing sun risers over the ocean. We will be...

Wherever you look the views are spectacular! The rustic appearance suggests a time long gone, but with a brand new kitchen, now all but finished, makes cooking & preparing meals easy. The atmosphere is so relaxing you want to sit in the old converted milking shed come dining/lounge area, all day. The sunlight streaming in through the northern windows, warming the...

Seaview Farm is definitely up there with my top places to stay. It was an absolutely beautiful place to get away from it all, and it was our favourite place we stayed at during our Tasmania trip. We loved it there so much we ended up spending a whole day of our trip just exploring the vicinity. The views are...

My husband and I recently stayed at Seaview Farm for 2 nights. It's a *real* farm stay - exactly what we were after. Julia and Frank were very welcoming and we enjoyed getting to know them during our stay. The property is picturesque with lovely gardens and an unrivalled view of the coast. The rooms are basic but clean, comfortable,...

We stayed at Seaview Farm for 3 nights from 6 - 8th December. We had seen a review about it in the Independent or Guardian so we booked it. It was well worth it. Frank and Julia are amazing people, we arrived with no food after a long journey and as it is some way from shops we had little....

Seaview Farm is situated on a plateau with panoramic views of the ocean, rolling timber covered hills and distant mountains. If you are interested in peace, tranquility, the many sounds of native birds, local bushwalks - one to a 360 degree lookout, superb night skies, viewing platypus in the dam, chemical free farming, welfare of the environment and human health with 2 acres of magificent landscaped gardens then this is for you. If not you will be disappointed so seaarch elsewhere. No fancy rooms, limited WIFI and no videos or TV. Accommodation is not five or four stars but it is clean, comfortable with instant hot water, hair dryers, heaters and electric blankets. The shared living space is a renovated old dairy and has retained a quaint rustic feel. In cold weather the barrel heater is wonderful. All these rooms command the magnificent views. The kitchen is new, large, modern and well equipped Hosts Julia and Frank are always welcoming and like to answer any questions on the farm and willing to share information on the farming practice as well as suggesting all local and further afield attractions. ... more   less
