We had been told that the Tall Timbers was not that good meal wise before our day trip to Smithton. I can only say that this information no matter how well intended was way off the mark. Our meals were great.Good bistro fare of organic chicken with seasonal vegies plus panko crumbed scallops with a warm Indian potato salad were...

I recently stayed at Tall Timbers for 2 nights while in town on business. On arrival Tall Timbers itself and the location are beautiful. The staff were friendly, warm and professional from start to finish. The amenities were great, with heated pool, gym, restaurant and bar. The food in the restaurant at night was fantastic, great menu, cooked perfectly and...

I was visiting Smithton for work and the Tall Timbers was suggested as the best place in town to stay. Not having seen anything else, I'd have to agree. It's set in lovely surroundings and just outside of the main business precinct, but certainly close enough to walk into. It's far enough removed to make you feel out on your...

Please ensure you have everything in writing. We were offered free vouchers over the phone, in addition to a fantastic weekend price, only to discover we were actually charged for all the vouchered items.....and the charged price was over $100 more than the verbal quote. The "free" welcoming wine and choccies, breakfasts, $50 dinner voucher all were added to the...

Hi. Thanks for taking the time to voice your concerns and I would like to see if I can help clear this up for you. The package we put together included all of the items you listed, plus 2 nights accommodation, at heavily discounted rates. Therefore the total value of this package would have been much higher in comparison to...

Booked for business trip calling on customers in the Smithton area, l find Tall Timbers a relaxing stopover and also find staff throughout the complex very helpful and courteous. Rooms here are spacious and provide a comfortable environment away from home. Meals in the bistro are very tasty and filling with plenty of variety on the menu, and buffet breakfast...

Business trip this time showing me a very nice experience of Tasmania. It was not only the scenery but also the ambience and the neighborhood. Many farms which we can see there and plenty of touristic places provides by Tasmania. The hotel represent all of this on their premises.

Have stayed at Tall Timbers on a couple of occasions now. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the quality of the food in the restaurant is top notch. Our room was nice and warm as the heater was on when we arrived, very comfortable bed and clean and tidy.

This is a great venue. We were lucky enough to book here and found that everything we needed was in the one venue which made it great so we could rest for the next day. The service was great and the food was good and so warm with it been so cold outside. Lovely pace indeed

Outstanding reception service, our greeting was friendly, very thoughtful and very proactive. Our room was great too, lakeside cabins even better, and the fantastic sports facilities -ie the swimming pool, gym and tennis courts. Would definitely stay again - an ideal base for all the tourist locations in the area. Well done Tall Timbers
