We stayed at Port Arthur cottage which is in front of the classic cottage but belong to the same owner (we think). We booked one night only and that was enough. From the outside the place looks nice, secluded, full of trees, wallabies walking around, quiet, but inside is very rustic and old. Rustic is not the problem, but the...

We knew from the photos that this was going to be one quaint stay. We were only there for one night but it was really cute, just like going to the beach in the old days and staying at the batch. The owner is obviously passionate about the nature of the area, as there were heaps of material to read...

My husband and I stayed here a night as part of our Tasmania East Coast honeymoon. I love the fact there was no TV and internet. We spent the afternoon playing board games and in the evening we sat infront of the FANTASTIC fire, sipping on gorgeous Tasmanian red wine and chatting. Big highlight over our honeymoon even though it...

Just a quick getaway for a night with my kids, while my hubby was away elsewhere. We hired Kevin's Cottage. Turning up we were welcomed with a little note on the door, which was nice. Walking in, we were thankful that the heater had been turned on ready for us & the cottage was toasty warm. We were greatly appreciative...

Our cottage was lovely - cosy and clean; bathroom SPOTLESS. We sat by the fire, played board games and read books when the weather was poor. In fact we were so comfortable we changed our plans so we could spend more time... Thanks for the notes - they were welcoming and helpful and we were LEFT ALONE the entire time...

On approach to these cabins the sign read $89 per night which is probably right for what you will get in these cabins, considering we paid more for ours (not sure why?) we found this to be too far removed. When you think of classic you think of things that are old and that is what you will get. This...

We stayed in Kevin's Cottage, a two bedroom house overlooking a picturesque inlet 2kms from the historic site. The cottage is spacious and has everything you might need. If it was 1982. I imagine that was the last time the linens, furnishings or kitchenware was updated. We didn't mind the kitsch - rocking out to tapes of Abba and The...

Excellent location with great views and very quiet and peaceful. The cabin we stayed in was large enough with all the basic facilities you we will need, if you love a warm shower be aware the water pressure is very low but we didn't mind. For the price is is good value for money however what ruined it for us...

Great little standalone cottage amongst the trees. We made a booking error at a nearby B&B and ended up looking for accommodation at short notice.. Saw a hand painted sign on the side of the road and drove in. The checking in process took about 3 minutes, and then we were parked outside our cottage and moving our gear in....

Charming, peaceful & great value. Every time I visit Port Arthur I always stay at Classic Cottage. Denis the owner is always helpful with a wealth of information on the area. The cottage is very well equipped, all that you need. The added deck out the back of the cottage is a great place to take in the lovely view...
