Fantastic location, very friendly staff always willing to assist. Lots to do in the resort and many attractions nearby. Many walks and wildlife to view. Once signed in and settled in cabin the weight of the world soon melted away.

The dinner and the breakfast was under avarage according tothe price they charge.Hotelrooms are big, clean and comfortable. The tracking around the hotel was excellent ,so one day staying is more than enough.

Dear Glnr S, Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at our lodge. We are so glad you found our cabins big, clean and comfortable; and the walking tracks around the lodge to be excellent. Unfortunately, it seems that we did not meet all your expectations. We would certainly like to learn more about that. If...

Lovely hotel. Scored an upgrade which was lovely. All staff friendly and helpful. Drinks a bit overpriced. Breakfast was great! Wish there were a few more choices for food on the menu. Spa was divine. Lots of animals to see around the resort.

It was a wonderful experience. We lit a log fire each evening and read after dusk. It was all very romantic. We especially enjoyed seeing the Tas Devils and learning about the great work to sustain the species.

We planned this trip for 6 months and decided on adjacent cabins for 2 couples. Checked this 2 days before arriving and confirmed. Arrived and told we were not adjacent as we arrived at 3pm and all of the cabins had been allocated earlier. This is just one example of the problems they are having. One staff member told us...

Our room looked very simple from the outside, but inside was quite luxurious. The fire was inviting, even in Summer. The view of Cradle Mountain from our window topped it off. Our 3 course dinner was up there with one of the best.

Great location. Staff not interested. Had to wait over 40 minutes to check in. Lodge and cabins in need of maintenance both inside and out. Not value for money. Restaurant food/service was excellent. Bistro over priced.

Great location for cosy cabin style accomodation. Rooms are private and well appointed, however ther are no televisions. Choice of dining options and bar area had entertainment when we were there. Easy access to a range of walks. Staff very friendly and helpful. We wanted to stay longer!

We had a delightful room with a fireplace that was pre-setup and easy to use. You need to be prepared for all weather as the cabins are some distance from the main lodge. Dining in highlands was unfortunately not the best experience. The preset menu had a skirt stake stake which was very tough and nearly raw when presented. When...

Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is a unique wilderness experience, set right on the edge of the spectacular World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain-Lake St. Clair National Park, just 2 hours drive from Launceston and 1.25 Hours from Devonport. At Cradle Mountain, you'll soon discover that fine food and wine are an unavoidable part of this rustic holiday. This superb escape showcases the best Tasmania has to offer with warm hospitality, sensational locally produced food and wine, breathtaking scenery and magnificent wilderness surrounds. The Lodge itself is warm and inviting with open fires, comfy chairs and cosy spots, perfect for enjoying the postcard views or just relaxing. Around Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge there are more than 20 walking trails that suit every fitness level. Imagine wandering through towering forests with trees older than mankind. Discover animal and plant varieties found nowhere else on earth. You can trek mountains, explore trails on horseback or mountain bike, and learn to fly-fish - just some of the many activities on offer. And when it's time to relax, guests can indulge in a therapeutic massage or sauna at the Waldheim Alpine Spa - the perfect place to soak away tension and time. Set discreetly within its pristine wilderness setting, Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge has 86 private timber cabins, offering 4 grades of accommodation. Each provides every comfort you could need, some with spa baths. Road Closures: There are a number of road closures around Tasmania at the moment that are affecting accessibility to Cradle Mountain. The Kimberley bridge in between Elizabeth town and Railton on the B13 is closed until further notice as the bridge has collapsed. The C138 from Mole Creek to Gowrie Park is inaccessible as the road has been closed due to the recent flooding. The C137 however from Mole Creek through Paradise just outside of Sheffield is open and a good way to bypass around the closures.
