I struggled to choose a place to stay in Burnie based on reviews on Trip advisor but settled for this one. It's okay, clean and tidy but dated and nothing like the photos. I paid corporate rate of $150 for something a bit better and the room was huge and clean enough to not modernised at all. FYI Optus coverage...

We was a little late arriving, reception staff were very friendly with a quick & smooth check in. Was also given a free room upgrade! Room was neat & clean, smelt very pleasant (not like some hotel rooms that kill you with cleaning room fragrance when you open the door), plenty of room to move. Great ocean view. Very close...

I stayed here overnight. The room was well-appointed although, in common with just about every place I've stayed in Tasmania, the mattress was not at all comfortable. The bathroom was quite clean, although I nearly fell over getting into and out of the shower - it's quite a step up! I think if you choose to stay here, you should...

We had heard of the potential noise issues so asked for a "quiet" room away from the train track and road at the front. Nicely renovated room, very clean, exactly what you would expect in this price range, with courteous staff. We were part of a large group that also ate at the restaurant, and although the booking had been...

A bit tired and dated but pleasant enough. Great location facing the beach and in town - close to everything. The restaurant was pleasant and "Fish Frenzy" is across the road downstairs in the surf club. If you want central and pleasant enough stay here.

This time the service at reception was friendly and helpful. The price was $149.00 per night which I think is a little high for the middle of winter. It was a very comfortable stay and the location is great. They should provide some cutlery in the rooms - had to eat my salad with a teaspoon.

This motel is in a great position, across the road from the beach, pub next door and in the main steet. It's a older motel but it well maintained. I didn't book the room as we were going to wing it,being winter I thought there would be plenty of vacancy.not so . We paid for the room, got the key? The room was...

Th is motor inn was once an excellent place to stay. We have just spent three days here and it has gone downhill. The rooms were badly serviced beds not made to their original state each day ( pillows still lying on the floor) some rubbish not removed, the carpets were clearly not done. Soap left laying on floor of...

Thank you for your review. I am disappointed we did lot live up to our past standards and do apologise. I have spoken with the cleaner involved, who has worked with us for a few years now. If I can reply specifically on a couple of points. Bed- The cleaner noticed 2 pillows, 2 cushions and the bed runner were...

I've stayed here a fair bit over the last three years. The last three times I've stayed I've been put in to room 41 which is by far the best room in the hotel. Recently refurbished and very spacious the room has a really comfy bed and is very quiet. Bathroom has a spa if that's your thing and there...

Very good location but no view unless you had a main road facing room. Old motel, reasonably well remodeled but bathroom is a giveaway to its age. Parking was awkward. Restaurant was surprisingly good as was service.
