The room was well appointed, clean and tidy - everything your little heart desires, lush, immaculate gardens to wander, a very short drive to the beach, 5kms. Fresh, organic eggs delivered to you room for breakfast. honestly i felt like I'd been away a month, so relaxed. Boat Harbour is rated one of the best 10 beaches to visit what...

We enjoyed our two-day stay at Cottage 1. It was a very cold weekend, so the heater and electric blankets came in handy. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and homely, had all we needed - and was good value too! The surrounding gardens are lovely. There was a laundry on-site (a room with washing machine and tumble drier - self-serve...

The drive to these cottages is so beautiful. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed ourselves so much we came back for another 2 nights. Steve is a great host and keeps the cottages immaculately clean. His garden is lovely and full of birds. There are varandas front and back. The cottages are well appointed with everything you need and...

Value for money. We were there on an exceptionally cold weekend so the fireplace and heater came in handy. Still, it was quite cold (for us Queenslanders). Shower head may need to be replaced and not sure if the fridge worked properly. That's all though, overall clean and tidy so a great stay.

Far enough from the road to be quiet. Self-contained cottages with basic kitchen, comfortable bedroom and bathroom and nice gardens. Don't expect good broadband or mobile reception. Be sure to bring your own supply of food etc as there is not much nearby.

The location is not far off the main road so you can hear trucks climbing the close by hill during the day, however they pretty much stop at night. The kitchen is not adequate for self catering. No stove, only a single portable cooking top plus an electric frying pan. The landlord was good enough to give us a second...

There are four cabins set in beautiful gardens. We had number three which has a living/kitchen area, separate bedroom and ensuite bathroom. The furnishings are a trifle old fashioned but the cabin was very comfortable except we were a bit chilly at times. There is an electric fire but you have to move it from the lounge to the bedroom....

My adult daughter and I booked a 1 bedroom self contained cottage for the night on our 2 day mini break to Boat Harbour and Stanley..when we arrived the owners had left our key to cabin#3 on a whiteboard set up with names and keys to all guests arriving at some stage. we easily settled in and had just a...

The cottages are old fashion decorated and very comfortable. Steve and Debbie (the owners) are just amazing. Very helpful! It's a perferct place to spend a few days in couple or in family! Very quiet and not too far from the very nice beach!! You can also see a penguin colony at doctors rocks (5 min from the cottages) Just...

My party (mature couple and elderly mother) had a very pleasant and comfortable overnight stay in cottage 1 recently. The cottage was very spacious: large lounge/dining/kitchen, two good sized bedrooms and a separate bathroom/toilet. A covered verandah with a bench seat provided another area for sitting but if we had stayed on longer we would have definitely spread out our...
