The rooms have certainly aged a bit, but they've aged in style (It's a simple and solid rough-roustic style fitting the mountain area) and the equipment (heating/fridge/toaster/tv...) is working flawlessly. Upon hearing that we'd eat dinner in our rooms with the family, the owner, a friendly Irishman, didn't raise any concerns, but offered to bring a microwave and a jug...

We were looking for an inexpensive stay over in The Blue Mountains. I'd warned my kids that it was going to be very basic but we were so pleasantly surprised. The room we had was really comfortable. The staff were so friendly & very helpful. Very happy to recommend it. A little passing traffic/train noise in the night but not...

The motel is basic but very well appointed, bright and quite interesting. The room was well set up and attractive. I loved the towelling dressing gowns provided. The staff were wonderful and made it a very enjoyable stay.

Thank you so much Jane & Garry. We felt like we were going to stay at a friends place. Such a warm and friendly welcome and a genuine care that we could find somewhere to eat and have options for things to do. Whilst the rooms are a little dated they are incredibly clean and great value for the money....

Great find for an overnight stay on a Friday night before off to the house we'd rented for Sat & Sun. Lovely welcome on check in and rooms were clean with an outdoor area that would be nice in warmer weather ~ Within walking distance to the local pub for drinks and dinner - added bonus. OK to be honest,...

Wonderful hosts, so helpful. Walking distance to town, walked to dinner both nights, Italian and Thai. Room was clean, beds comfy, continental breakfast good, had everything we needed. Did use ear plugs due to being unused to train noise. Easy access to all Blue Mountains attractions.

Basic but comfortable. Friendly owner/staff. Suggested good parking spot for my bike. Some traffic noise overnight - but that's what you expect on the Great Western Highway! Owner was conscious that the gravel parking area was not the best for my bike and suggested an alternative spot for safe parking.

A great comfy place to rest your head, with a gorgeous warm welcome and a genuine interest in your visit to Blackheath. Easy walk to Blackheath restaurants, cafes and train station. The shower is hot and powerful and the aircon warm. The room has exposed beams and is quiet from the rest of the guests - but traffic can still...

Came here for the weekend with my boyfriend, he had made the booking so I was a bit skeptical But it was exceptional. Garry and Jane were super welcoming and made our stay very pleasant. Super close location and I would recommend to anyone coming to the area.
