This gorgeous, no detail-spared villa is a treasure. An open-air home with beautiful decor, furnishings, and every possible comfort, where you'll sleep right over the coastline and yet be safe and dry! One could explore the folk art from Indonesia and Mexico all day - but there's too much to do in lovely Yelapa.

Casa Pericos is a beautiful location with a view of the bay that cannot be put in to words. We had gray whales and dolpins leaping (and I mean leaping!) out of the bay in front of us one morning. The open air casa has tasteful décor and all the amenties you need in a kitchen (pots, pans, plates, blender,...

My husband have traveled to Yelapa for the day many times and decided that we should definitely stay there to be able to enjoy this wonderful village. After searching/reading reviews I found Casa Pericos and we booked Vista Romantica for 3 days towards the end of March 2015. It was so exciting to come into the bay on our water...

We were 3 single women traveling together to attend a wedding in Yelapa. We arrived by boat from PV on very rough seas, so were unable to dock at Casa Isabel which would have been quite convenient. Instead we landed at the dock in Yelapa. I will admit, we had a lot of luggage as our trip included other places...

We had a wonderful week stay at Casa Pericos. Everything the previous reviewers had said was exactly correct. The furnishings were lovely. The people in the village were special. We enjoyed every minute of our time in this beautiful accomodation, overlooking the water - from whale watching from our patio to watching the burrows trekking the supplies to the neighboring...

Me and my wife had the wonderful opportunity to discover Yelapa and Casa Paricos in February. We arrived on the beach by water taxi, which was a very unique experience in itself, and we were welcomed by staff to help with our bags even after being 4 hours late for our prearranged arrival. The owner of the B&B was readily...

Just returned from a two week holiday in Mexico and the four nights we spent in Cielo Tranquilo were definitely a highlight. Well maintained, clean accomodations. Beautiful decor and an impressive view. We will be back.

Ideal two days at Casa Pericos. Room (Cielo tranquilo) was beautiful, and everything was in order, with a comprehensive set of instructions, and hot tips. Saw an amazing array of sea life from our room, in particular flying stingrays (no hallucinogens involved, promise!). Highly recommended.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa Pericos, located on "The Point" in Yelapa only a few palapas down from Isabel's Beach, is the newest and most finely appointed Guest House/Vacation Rental in Yelapa. Casa Pericos, which translates as "House of the Parrots", are three romantic Indonesian-inspired loft suites rising within a beautiful jungle canopy filled with parrots and butterflies directly on the ocean. All three romantic Indonesian-inspired loft suites of Casa Pericos sleep up to 14 when rented together, but may be easily closed off to be two or three very spacious lofts, all with private baths and separate kitchens to accommodate our guest's needs. With breathtaking ocean and jungle views, calm warm ocean breezes, and waters teaming sea life literally at your front door, you will immediately understand why people are instantly lured to jump into the water before they even unpack. Once settled in, take a soak in our Zen Soaking tub with expansive jungle and ocean views, or shower in our private outdoor shower pavilion, before enjoying a margarita on your balcony overlooking Banderas Bay. We are located in the quietest area of Yelapa on The Point, yet Casa Pericos is only a five minute walk to the village restaurants and two locals dance clubs, or 20 minutes walking to the main beach or nearest waterfall. Begin your journey with us below as we explore each of our three Indonesian-inspired loft suites at Casa Pericos and the eco-barefoot experience Yelapa offers! ... more   less
