Had an amazing experience staying at Casa Isabels. We stayed in the Beachhouse which is right down on the beach. We loved the sound of the waves and completely natural surrounding around us. This might not be the best choice for someone who doesn't want to be unclose with nature but if you are good with some lizards and small... More

All I can say is WOW... This is my 4th time in Yelapa... This is by far the coolest place I've stayed.. Its like going camping in the jungle... Super comfy hanging bed.... Sleeping under a gigantic tree, under the stars.... Listening to the surf.... We also have a complete outdoor kitchen, oh yes our spot has no roof... Organic... More

After coming here for over 20 years you would think one might get tired of a place. But no! It is even better and more keep up then ever! Beverly and Chris rock and will make your stay easy and comfortable. The sounds of the birds the waves crashing will melt away the negativity from the rat race...

We stayed at Casa Isabel for 2 weeks in the end of Jan 2015. We are new empty-nesters, early 50s, and wanted a place off the beaten path. We found that place. We stayed at Annie's. Guests need to be ready for the open air, no walls, "Glam camping" that is the beauty of Casa Isabel. At Annie's: the memory... More

My wife and I traveled to Yelapa and stayed at Casa Isabel just a week ago for 10 days for our honeymoon. It also happened to be our first vacation in over 10 years, and my wife's birthday. From the moment we arrived in Yelapa, we were dumbfounded. It is a place on earth that I can only wish more... More

Our wedding took place this last June in Yelapa at Casa Isabel - it was wonderful experience from start to finish! Yelapa is of course, a gorgeous location and the placement of Casa Isabel could not be more ideal - spectacular views and nice and breezy out on "the point", but still close enough for a casual walk into town.... Casa Isabel is not for the "all inclusive resort" type. It's perfect for the adventurous and open minded person who wants to truly experience Mexico. The casas are open air and exposed to the elements including a beautiful breeze, amazing views of the jungle and the sea, insects, and critters. The kitchens are well equipped and I recommend buying fish... More

I am writing this review lounging in a hammock by the see in the Casa Central. I need to get back to reality in Mexico City tomorrow, but first will enjoy some amazing tacos at Los Abuelos (am too lazy to cook, though the kitchen has all you need) and a great night of sleep with the sound of waves... Better than we even imagined, and we had heaven on our minds!! We will certainly return because Casa Isabel was a delicate jungle paradise, but the added bonus was the humility and friendliness of our hosts, Chris and Beverly- great advice on local fun, great storytelling and information about Yelapa and its history, real-life trials, and sweetness. This is a... More

“Pavillion has very limited privacy and everything can be heard. Suspended beds are not for everyone, especially if you get romantic, take Dramamine before the blue pills, it can be quite a ride.”

“I would never stay at this facility again. The south end of Yelapa is for the strong hearted and adventureous. Possibly try some of the properties north of the main beach and stay away from the unuits like Playa Isabel that are carved out of the jungle. Almost all the places in South beach Yelapa require climbing many stone steps or walking along the stone path cover with donkey dung. NO barefoot walking here.”
