I've never been here before as it doesn't look much from the outside. Once inside it has a rather faded feel to it. However the lady behind the bar was very pleasant, and went for the two course lunch. I was not expecting much for £6.95, but I was pleasantly surprised. The mushroom soup had plenty of flavour, with mushroom...

We spent one night here after a family gathering and definitely won't return. We had booked 4 rooms and each was in desperate need of repair. Awful smell in 2 of the bathrooms, hole in wall, mouldy leak on one ceiling, wardrobe door hanging off and paint peeling off in large sections on several of the walls. Really this is...

We had a basic room which was comfortable for the night. With a great view overlooking the pond towards the sea & the other window overlooking the harbour. Plenty of tea & coffee. We had a 4 poster bed & nice size tv for rainy days.

We didn't expect much going by the decor which was very clean but in bad need of refurbishment but other than fish and chip or a walk to the harvester we decided to stay and eat, the staff were very welcoming and showed us the menus one was 2 courses for £6.95 and as we didn't want to spend to...

The staff were very helpful and friendly.However...This place is in desperate need of a complete refurb!! If the windows were ever attempted to be cleaned we might have been able to appreciate the view of the lake.our room was a decent size, but the decor was grim and very tacky!! I'd sooner stay at faulty towers!! Never would I go back...

I knew from previous reviews it wasn't going to be good. But our room is like a 1980s bedsit. A mismatch of very old furniture and furnishings. Dated and in dire need of modernisation. Not recommended. Only booked in desperation as nothing else available.

This hotel is cheap and cheerful a bit rough around the edges but it's in a lovely location. By the oyster pond where you can kayake and peddloe. It's fun. And very close to East Beach. In a park that it's lovely to have sandwiches then dip a toe in the sea afterward. Lovely haven.

Lady on desk was very nice and friendly. The hotel is in need of modernising and rooms up dating but the bed was clean and comfortable and I had a great night sleep. Overall for my stay it was value for money. Keep smiling and I'll be back.
