Stopped here for lunch after visiting nearby Sheffield park gardens. Car park nearly full and very tight spaces, but managed to squeeze in! Found a seat and sat down in the restaurant area, had to wait a while before the waitress brought a menu over, she said she would come back for our order, but we ended up ordering at... More

Food is great , probably the best ever ploughmans. To avoid disappointment it is best that you book a table as few times before we have been told the kitchen has stop serving food at 1300hrs and at 1900hrs. Beautiful old pub, great beers and as I said before the food is fantastic.

Very pleasant meal and surroundings. We ordered from their excellent value, set menu. Couldn't fault the food or service, and our Australian guests soaked up, the quaintness and atmosphere of this village pub.

This was my second stay when visiting local friends and whilst Lindfield is wonderful and The Bent Arms as a pub / restaurant is perfect the 'hotel' facilities are lacking. You are paying for the location rather than a sumptuous bed for the night. Usually I stay at The Birch which is outdated also but Bent Arms is certainly the... More

Enjoyed lunch here yesterday for the first time and would definitely revisit and recommend. Lovely old pub, good food and prices, excellent service although busy. Gardens very pretty and plenty of parking.

I've been here several times and love it. Traditional old fashioned real pub with a great atmosphere with freshly cooked food. Recommend the omelettes and plough mans. Our guests from overseas loved it ... Typical English pub. Recommend for sure.

Stayed overnight on my way to an event elsewhere. Was immediately very impressed with the location, Lindfield is a quintessential English village. Free parking right behind the inn. Pleasant beer garden. Quirky and charming bar and restaurant. My room was rather outdated and in need of a refurb, but ultimately very cheap considering the area and quality of the other... More

This is a quirky little pub in the village. You get the choice of a set menu or a la carte. The set menu was really good with a selection of two or three courses. I had a mushroom filled with goats cheese, chicken curry and chocolate cheesecake. It is a good atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The food... More

The staff is charming, the room very clean, the breakfast amazing. Also the happy hour beer in the big back garden with the setting sun was a moment to be remembered. Another important detail : I was silly enough to forget my wallet in one of the bedroom drawers when I left. The next day I came back to fetch... More

We visited the restaurant with a family member for lunch last week and I must say we were very impressed at how delicious the food was. The staff were very polite and professional, they found us a very nice table to sit at. The Hotel is very old and quirky and has very interesting features such as a copper canopy... More
