We treated my mum for afternoon tea for her birthday - there was four in our party. On arrival we were told that we should choose one of the reserved tables which had been set up prior to our arrival so we picked a suitable table for four. We decided on the celebration tea which included a glass of sparkling...

Visited as a surprise birthday treat. Loved the place from the moment we drove in. Warm welcome and had a pre lunch drink and perused the menu in an ante room, history oozing out of the stone walls. Taken to the restaurant which is large and bright and had a wonderful set lunch with very very nice wine. We had...

Everything we expected for a fabulous Christmas break. Very attentive staff who made our Christmas very special. Food and wine was amazing! Lovely location with a short walk to the beach and a beautiful swimming pool and spa. Dog lovers were very welcome and I wish I had taken mine.

Went to Bailiffscourt for a Boxing Day lunch. The staff were very polite and efficient, though perhaps a little impersonal at times. The food was very tasty and is what I would class as 'fine dining' - smaller then usual portions, rich food. Overall a very good experience and no doubt will revisit in the future for a similar family...

My husband and i visited this hotel as a break from our 3 children - it was our first night off in a very long time and we were looking forward to a relaxing break. The hotel was FULL of children; there were crying babies at breakfast, the pool was literally teaming with kids and a crying baby woke us...

The location is lovely within grounds with a short walk to Climping beach. The atmosphere in the hotel is warm with lots of interesting rooms, restaurants etc. The staff are friendly and work hard to be of service. The rooms are comfortable (although I prefer a harder bed), the bathrooms are great. The food is good, so what is the...

We had stayed at the hotel for just one night. I was impressed with the buildings which made the place look like a small village as the rooms were scattered in various buildings in the grounds. I liked the quirky public areas and loved the fact that they allowed friendly dogs. It made me wish that I had brought my...

We just stayed the night with our dog at this hotel. The location is fantastic and there is a lovely walk down to the beach which our dog very much enjoyed. The hotel room was lovely and had everything we needed. The spa and the treatments we booked were fantastic, the pool area is really lovely and very relaxing with...

We went to Bailiffs court to celebrate a special birthday. The venue itself was nice enough but the food ,service and ambience were dreadful. Although we had pre ordered the menu and had named seating it was still chaotic. The food was at best lukewarm, the pheasant was dry and needed a sauce and it was the worst fondue pudding ever.
