After reading some of the reviews I was not looking forward to my stay but have been pleasantly surprised, they have very friendly staff a great buffet, free gym, good parking, nice bathrooms, good selection of teas and coffee, good toiletries, clean and comfortable rooms and a three pound continental breakfast

Paid £88 through booking.com. Half this amount would have been reasonable - just. Checking in wasn't given a receipt as the guy was too busy. Had to go back in the morning. Up the muddy stairs to my room. Now then...Stunk of the all you can eat Chinese Buffet downstairs; light by the bed was hanging by the wires; curtain...

Never write reviews but this place was really bad. Heating was unbearable, had to sleep with the window open when it was about -2 outside. About 10 toe nails on the floor, a chicken bone and a chewed apple under the bed. The beds was the worst ever. Whenever you turned over you got stabbed in the ribs by the...

The room was ok for me I spent nights in worst, having read a few of the previous reviews I can see why they have scored it low but 1 maybe a little unfair. The room/hotel did have a smell of a kitchen but it does disappear. I suspect the restaurant extra could be something to do with it. A...

Wifi non existent, speed test showing 0.3 Mbps, really not good enough, can't stream etc and god forbid I would want to use Skype!! To be fair when I asked if there was an issue with it, was told that "we normally get guests with muddy boots who wouldn't have a need for decent wifi" and that tells you everything...

I am very unsatisfied with this hotel and will never visit again. I wish I checked the reviews properly before visiting the hotel. When I got there the room smelt foul like a sewage. The wardrobe was filled with a heater and fan so there was not enough space to hang the clothes. When I booked this hotel I selected...

Cannot even begin to say how utterly disgusting this place is. Complete and utter dump. Booked two rooms, checked in and checked out 15 minutes later. Save your money, much better hotels close by. The rooms are terrible, old and unclean. And the manager rude and with no customer service skills.

Really liked this hotel room was clean a decent size no foul smells and will definitely stay again. I didn't eat here but the receptionist was lovely and friendly, would recommend obviously if your used to more luxurious hotels this won't meet your standards

Definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Wouldn't even stop here again, if it was free. As soon as I walked in the room was greeted by an awful stench, which appeared to be coming from the shower plughole. The carpet was dirty, and had a burn hole in it. The bedding looked grubby and the mattress has...

Had to book here as nowhere else available for the night. The reception seems nice enough but as soon as you reach the corridors you just know something is wrong but the rank unidentified smells there. Just gets worse - the room had nasty looking stains on the walls, grubby carpet, toilet roll holder falling off and tiny tv. We...
