From the outside and on entrance, this place has potential. Has a very modern reception dining bar area and the reception staff were friendly every time we needed anything. However the rooms themselves whilst clean are basic but you get what you pay for. We booked a cheap deal via secret escapes which was £59 a night and i certainly...

We stayed here last week and received a nice warm welcome. The reception, bar and dining areas are very modern and smart and give a good impression. The bedrooms are however a lot more basic, rather like travel lodge of the 1980s. Very basic but comfortable with a good shower once it got going. We ate in the bar and...

Had a one night stop over in a business trip. Nice welcome at reception. Swift check in. Had two trips to room as key card would not work. Ended up swapping rooms, which worked out ok. Had a decent meal in restaraunt, not too pricey either. Set in nice grounds and a good location for me. Would return.

A basic facility, nothing desperately wrong and nothing very good. The Golf course was OK, not well presented, and dull for the 1st nine, 2nd nine was more interesting. Rooms were OK, but furniture was very basic. Food was OK, nothing to write home about.

A year ago our daughter got married at the Draycote, we, and everyone else at the wedding have beautiful memories of that day. It was perfect from start to finish, the manager Steve and all his staff couldn't do enough for us. Everything ran extremely smoothly thanks to their professionalism and friendliness. The food was excellent and all the rooms...

Arrived on a nice sunny afternoon. Lad on reception was friendly, throughout stay. Booked through a package on secret escapes. Bedroom was too hot, need aircon. Bed was okay- but room needs updating, especially the bathroom. When we went down for dinner, table was set out nicely and separate from the golf club. Starters were really nice. My husband couldn't...

I stayed, along with another golfer, on a "Bed, Breakfast and unlimited Golf" package. Our golf tee-times had been pre-booked in the package and we went off exactly on time. The post-golf beers and lagers were a bit expensive. Our room was clean and tidy, although had two sloping pillars from the ceiling to the floor. The shower did not...

We used the Draycote Hotel as a base for a two night stop over touring the Midlands. I have to say that my room was very comfortable. The bed was perfect, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, especially the sausages and mushrooms. It was great to see a good Bean to cup coffee machine at breakfast, producing freshly ground...

We went to the hotel for afternoon tea to celebrate mother's day. £15 a head with a glass of 'sparkling wine' (tasted like babysham). 3 stale sandwich fingers each, 1 scone and a few dry cakes. Service was very confused and considering the place was half empty was not very attentive. Poor value for money and wouldn't bother again.

I stayed, along with a group of other golfers, on a " Bed, Breakfast and two rounds of Golf" package. We arrived mid-morning and had coffees and Bacon Rolls - all reasonably priced and quickly served. Our golf tee-times had been pre-booked in the package and we went off exactly on time. The post-golf beers and lagers were a bit...
