The Premier Inn was the home of the Victorian author, George Eliot (Mary Ann Evans), where she lived for 22 years. Refurbished in February 2004, the pub has pleasant gardens, a children's outside play area and a large pond. It also has a large car park and is in a prime position for visiting places of interest in and around the Midlands. With easy access to all major routes including the M6, Birmingham Airport and Ricoh Arena. The accommodation is in the form of a Premier Inn with nearly 50 rooms, all comfortable and of the highest standards. Why not come and try us out soon, to be welcomed and served by our friendly staff.

Warm and efficient welcome. Good, albeit slightly cramped bedroom en suite (only to be expected at this charging rate). Good facilities and very good bed and bedding. Good and plentiful English breakfast

Really enjoyed our stay here, great friendly and efficient check in with a lovely lady, room was clean and bright and perfect! We stay in different hotels and would not stay anywhere else now. Such a friendly lovely hotel wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else

Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Premier Inn always delivers for me. Good clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Good service and this Premier Inn did not disappoint. Friendly and efficient staff. Plenty of car parking. Beefeater adjoining provides excellent food and service.

It is about a 20 minute walk- just over a mile in a taxi it would be about £7-£10 and reception can book that for you.
