Went here Saturday night for a few drinks whilst staying at bosworth hall hotel 3minute walk away. Really busy and buzzing pub. All bar Staff were bang on, we couldn't fault them. Prices are average Must be the busiest pub in Market Bosworth.

We visited this pub a couple of times this weekend. Last night for drinks before eating at the local Indian restaurant. Really nice atmosphere. Good music, cosy lighting friendly staff and a good selection of beers/lagers etc. Stayed for an hour or so and really enjoyed it. Returned again this afternoon with my wife and daughter. Had a nice table...

For a Monday Lunch time this was well populated. The Pedigree Bitter was a delight and the food solid Pub Grub. It shows Pubs can survive with regular locals topped up by passing trade (like us walkers). Market Bosworth is a delightful little town too. Would go again.

The staff couldn't have been nicer. They had some nice beers and it was packed with locals enjoying a night out. The food was very reasonable but stuck in the 1980's. Adequate but not tasty. Two of us ate for £32 which you can't complain about with a drink each

saw the red lion on route to bosworth hall where my friend and myself were staying. Vowed we we would go for lunch. Not disappointed, had lunch Al Fresco in the beer garden, food lovely, staff superb, decor, olde world England, oak beams, horse brasses, lots of tables, clean, welcoming, light bites or a la carte. Reasonable prices. £ 5.50...

We have visited several times now for food and drinks and always enjoy the atmosphere in this old place. The food is good quality for a pub and they always have a specials board. Even just a sandwich for lunch is reasonably priced and fresh. Smaller meals are available which is good if like us you are having a full...

This was my first visit. Excellent well cooked Roast lamb Sunday lunch, which also included, roast potato, mash, parsnip, peas, cauliflower and carrots and Yorkshire pud plus gravy and mint sauce. Good selection of puds as well. Very friendly and efficient staff. It was very busy so best to book a table. Would definitely go again

“We think all rooms are on the road so be aware there will be some traffic noise. Room 4, the one we stayed in, may be the best option as one window opens on to the car park.”

“Last time we were in room 5 across the courtyard and this time in room 1 on the 1st floor just above the bar. It was a bit noisy until the bar closed at 12 but then was quiet and we slept well. When we stay next time I'll ask for room 4 on the next floor up for a change (the other double). The other 2 rooms are a twin and a single.”
