Stayed here to attend The Rammstein gig in Coventry which was a 15 min drive away.
The pictures make it look like you are staying above an Italian restaurant…. The restaurant itself looks pretty derelict!
No car park. There is free street parking in the roads opposite & behind. As long as you can reverse park you’ll find a space.
Anyhoo it wasn’t as bad as I first thought on arrival. I had to call the phone number on the door to gain access in to the building, find my room & the key in a little key safe outside the room.
Our room was room 3 which was a triple room. 1 double bed & 1 single. The room itself was quite compact but contained a desk, tea & coffee facilities & a television. The bathroom was clean just very small but my 6ft 14 time partner managed fine. Shower was quite small but worked well enough to get a hot shower.
Beds were clean & comfortable.
Heard no noise through the night as it’s a quiet area.
Cleaning staff were lovely & friendly.
No idea about breakfast… but cafes, Wetherspoons, greggs etc are a 15 min walk away.
Overall it’s a basic budget place but it did the job & I would stay there again. To stay anywhere near the arena would have cost me at least £100 more.

I wanted a night to meet some mates in Nuneaton, out so looked for cheap accommodation close to the town centre. The Booking was easy enough and someone from the hotel rang me on the afternoon I was due to book in to inform me of my room number and give me the code for the front door. The Hotel is only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Be Aware there is only really street parking in the area with plenty of double yellow lines. The hotel looks very shabby but in its day was a thriving restaurant and the place to go. This has long not been the case and the restaurant is closed. The room was outdated but clean. The normal complementariness were in place, Coffee, tv etc. The Bathroom is tiny and unfortunately the shower was dangerous. 30 seconds scalding 30 seconds freezing so a proper shower was impossible. To me little things like this are most important. There is a small area outside the rooms with a micro wave and a ironing board. I had booked breakfast but did not have a clue where this was going to take place. I woke in the morning to the smell of bacon and egg but could I hell find where it was coming from. fortunately I bumped into a lady who took me to the attic where breakfast was being prepared by her and her mate. the breakfast was fresh and fine. (A sign to its location would work well) overall its a bit rough and ready, would suite a couple of lads for a night on the town but nothing more. There is a handy Co-op across the road.

everyone was very friendly and the staff and management allowed us to decorate our table and looked after us very well, the menu is big enough to suit all tastes . been here twice ,one for Freddie Mercury tribute and this time was Robbie Williams.
bar prices are reasonable. rooms comfortable for the price you are paying.

Creepy guys who run this place. We felt very uncomfortable there, this place is worth 10-20 pounds a night at best. It is a hostel and looks like a hostel from the outside. I will not even let my dog stay there.

Horrendous! Absolutely shocking arrived at property room offered originally, had broken sockets with exposed wiring, smashed TV, half drunk cups of coffee, the beds were made but clearly sheets had not been changed, generally un clean, with broken furniture, dirty walls and stains everywhere. Was then offered 3 different rooms but the more we saw the worse it got. Wish we'd have took pictures bit just had to get out of there.
Manager tried to help as much as he could and gave a full refund.

I’m actually stunned… hands down, the worst place I’ve ever stayed. So, bring from Yorkshire, I like a bargain and stumbled across this fun looking hotel on booking.com cheap and cheerful!

We arrived and instantly, our hearts sank. The colourful exterior shown on the booking website had crumbled away, the rendering had vanished and signs and window stickers were peeling off. We got to the door of the now abandoned Italian restaurant and saw piles of letters stacked behind the door and a hand written note asking guests to call for access. We called, given the code and made our way up 2 flights of stairs to our attic room.

As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with the smell of damp, it was so bad, I began gipping. We opened the window and explored the room. The bathroom was awful. The sink had come away from the wall and it was minuscule.

The room was pretty big with three single beds! The beds 😂🤣 they were all on wheels and non of us woke up in the same place we fell asleep. It seems we’d been playing bed dodgems in our sleep. I drew the short straw and got the bed under a sinister looking loft hatch, right next to a door Rigby would be proud of!

The free Wi-Fi didn’t work, the tv wasn’t connected and weren’t able to watch anything other than YouTube. The radiator had been removed but they hadn’t decorated after it’s removal and there were stains on the wall!

Woke this morning with 7 bites on my chest and shoulders!

What an absolute dive! Don’t book here, spend a little extra and save yourself!

Absolutely disgusting. So dirty we had to go and buy cleaning products. Staff were rude and unprofessional. Breakfast was disgusting. I’d advise not to take children or elderly here! Some of the staff did try their best and almost apologised for the state of the place and the staff that weren’t as polite.

Booked through work by looking on booking.com and the picture I was sent of what the outside was supposed to look like reassured me my trip would be a good one…… oh how I was wrong I arrived after finishing work that day and was met with a shabby looking building, my room with a TV with exposed wires, no heating but a little tiny heater and the sheets on the bed absolutely filthy resulting in me finding somewhere else to go as I could not stay here. DO NOT!!! Stay in this hotel it is not worth the money or the disappointment, should be shut down if you ask me utterly disgusting!!!

“Do not stay here!!

What an absolute joke!!

Here we go...

You arrive to greet.......
No one!

The hotel doesn’t even look like Its open anymore...

No lights on...

You have to ring a number , which transfers you to a recorded message saying, you need to ring another number.

You call that number, eventually someone answers to tell you a code for the main door to get in.

There’s post just sat on the floor like an unoccupied house!

There are keys just sat in the lock of empty rooms.

We go to our room, (key in the door)

The ceiling has a crack in, leaking water onto one of the beds.

The tv is about as big as your smart phone.

You can’t wipe your own bum
Never mind swing a cat in the bathroom

The room was cold and the radiator doesn’t even work!! It’s broke!!
So you can’t even turn it on never mind up or down!!

One of the cupboards in the corridor just had a loose hanging handle and inside what I can only describe as a fire hazard waiting to happen, a boat load of tangled wires. (Oops)

There’s no one here to represent the place!!

I saw a brush and a really old dust collector (manual hoover)
Something my grandma use to to use back in the day before electric hoovers came about!
I use to play with it as a child lol
I think this is what is used to clean up.
I don’t know why, because there’s nothing to the carpets, there as flat as a pancake!
Been there for years!!

By the way...
I decided to have a peek into another room as the keys were just sat in the door locks.
I opened the door and thought I’d found the honey moon suit as it had something draping in the door way, only to discover after going in and turning the light on, it was the cable trunking that was hanging off the wall. (Hahahahaha)

We soon left...

I can only laugh at this place :D”
