the usual high quality and most important consistent service. Great stop over point. Close to lots of local sites and also not far from Durham or Newcastle. Staff were great as always. Easy parking facilities. Breakfast is by order rather than full buffet but still the usual good choice.

A four night break to visit Durham Cathedral & Beamish Museum. The Washington Premier Inn was the perfect base for exploring the area. I LOVE the comfortable beds at Premier Inn - a minimum requirement for me. The staff are attentive but not in your face, and the breakfasts are great.

Good location for visiting the Beamish Museum, Angle of the north, Metro Centre and easy access to the centre of Newcastle. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, well heated, nice comfortable large bed. Everything was lovely and clean.

Stayed in Washington with my elderly mother, daughter and grandchildren to visit my daughter who has moved to Newcastle. The staff in this hotel were excellent, they went out of their way to talk to us all including the children. This hotel has a friendly atmosphere and is staffed by local people.

I have used this hotel many times over the years, it's consistently excellent and I think it deserves full marks - the reception staff and breakfast team are friendly helpful and make you feel welcome. The rooms are of course clean and tidy, hard to pick fault really - once you enter the room the welcome tray with Tea Coffee...

Had a lovely stay here while visiting Beamish Museum. The staff were brilliant and very welcoming. I have a gluten allergy but I was very well looked after during breakfast and had some lovely meals. One of the chefs is a Celiac and knew exactly what I needed and went above and beyond my expectations! A lovely stay overall, very...

I stay in Premier Inns quite often and highly recommend them. However, the Washington Premier Inn is the exception. The weather was hovering around freezing and snow/sleet was forecast. We chose to stay for one night on a trip to Newcastle rather than do the return journey from South Yorkshire in one day. The Washington Premier Inn is close to...

Hi Nigel Thanks for taking the time to share your review. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the food at the attached Toby Carvery, however it's a shame to hear of the issues you experienced with your room temperature and comfort of the bed. Please be assured I've raised your comments with the Hotel Management Team so that they...

Upon arrival I was made very welcome. The room was warm and clean. But the best bit was breakfast. An outstanding welcome, freshly cooked breakfast served with a warm smile and excellent chat. The lady even made toast for me. The best Premier Inn night I have had! Thank you.

Ok, clean.. but old style. A miracle duel purpose door to the bathroom that you also use for the toilet. Small TVs and no evening meal (Toby next door) Ok, but a bit dated (not a patch on the new ones, but the beds good). Breakfast served in the hotel, not the Toby...... very good to be honest. I went...
