Visited hotel for a valentines dance and dinner. Food was quite good except served on cold plates. Staff were trying hard but with no professionalism. Good waiters flirt with the women, joke with the men etc. Room was very cold. It had been advertised as a swing evening but no swing music, just old crooners. People wanted to dance but...

All the staff pleasant and very accommodating, hotel slightly tired but very clean. Fresh towels every day and room cleaned. A small kettle provided with ample teas, coffee, both ordinary and decaffeinated, hot chocolate and decent biscuits. Breakfast well cooked and very good.

I have stayed here frequently over the last 2 months on business (more than 10 times in 2 months)- due to its good location. I have also stayed at local Travel Lodges/ Premier Inns- which I prefer to this. This is a terrible hotel. Despite the frequent visits- the staff are curt and rude. The rooms have peeling paint, TVs...

According to the many negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised when I had an excellent stay at the hotel. The young lady named yasmin on reception at the hotel was very helpful and had a lovely and polite telephone manner. My room was comfy and warm and I felt at home , all the staff we're friendly and the food...

Having booked into this hotel for a one night stay on business, I read some of the recent reviews. I then became very apprehensive about staying! I believe it's fair to say that this hotel is tired, old-fashioned and a bit of a throwback to the 70's. In fact it doesn't look like it's been touched since then decoration-wise, merely...

On their website it says "book early for Sunday Lunch, as it gets booked up very quickly". I booked a few weeks ago for Sunday 29th January 2017. We walked into an empty reception area, when someone eventually arrived, they wanted to take our order straight away, we still had our coats on and where waiting for two more members...

The rooms are dark and dingy without proper lighting Dining room out of action the evening we were there so had to eat at uncomfortable table in the bar area. Prime Hotels is the name of the company that owns the Bridge House Hotel but a lot needs to be done to restore it to prime condition. Positive is the location - atop Reigate Hill with an extensive view over south east England. Parking is also ample (albeit a little bumpy). The rest is not positive. The building shows signs...
