Stayed a week in this dirty smelly hotel, totally outdated, the first room we had smelled like damp, we changed rooms to a room that hadn't been cleaned and was dirty, so complained again to eventually get a clean room but still didn't have a key for the door for 3 days, I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it...

Needed somewhere cheap to stay and this was the cheapest double en suite room in the area so wasn't expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised at the look of the hotel when we arrived although it does look slightly old fashioned but we don't mind that. Receptionist was so happy and friendly even though she was clearly rushed off her...

The best thing about it is the tree outside. Shabby, dirty and run down. Sticky floors, hairs in bath, peeling upholstery, dirty windows, no lock on bathroom door.the place ran out of loo roll too!! Grim.

Stayed 1 June 2016. Chloe the receptionist was fantastic, bright, lovely personality, very helpful. Thats where the good experience starts and stops. Carpark full of contractors vans. Unkempt 'garden', cigarette tab-ends everywhere outside, and dog waste. We stayed in room 24 in the annex. Carpet stained in room, brown elongated stain on shower room carpet, plastic razor cap on floor....

A friend and I booked into the Cedar Tree Hotel for a nearby event. Hotel looked okay upon entering and receptionist was friendly enough but we were met with continuous disappointment: • Lock on the room door was faulty so gaining access took a few mins (lock within handle). • Got locked in trying to get out too. • couldn't...

I have stayed in this hotel many times over the last 20+ years as it is conveniently situated in the midlands within easy reach of various showgrounds, conference centres etc. Over the years I have been astonished to watch the the standard of service decline to it's present level. When checking-in you are given a piece of paper with info....

It's not the Ritz clearly. But If you need somewhere to stay in Brereton, and the Premier Inn or Travelodge are too far away, as they were for us, then this is an OK stop for a night. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's off road parking. Nothing more to say really.
