We stayed here for 2 nights for our Alton Towers trip. The place is near the theme park around 5 minutes away. The view is really nice with lots of animals around by just looking your window (sheeps, cows , & horses). Really spacious room & good amenities. We definitely going back.

We stayed here for a 2 day trip with 7 of us. We had 2 rooms and visited alton towers both days. The lady who owns the inn is so lovely and all staff have been so accommodating. One of our family members has celiac and therefore, eating out is a struggle most of the time. The staff were so accommodating and we ALL enjoyed breakfast and dinner both evenings with no complaints which very rarely happens with us. Very close to Alton Towers and was a lovely stay. Will be back, and would definitely recommend. Thank you Margaret for your hospitality.

Lovely and clean chalet with comfy beds in beautiful countryside. The pub has a lovely country rustic character. The couple running it were lovely and the food was great. They were also patient with our young kids. The “piggery” no longer has the teddies on the ceiling since Covid and there isn’t a play park anymore. About 7 minutes drive to Alton Towers.

Stayed at Peakstones Inn Thursday night with my partner. Margaret was a brilliant host, very friendly and more than happy to answer any questions that we had. The beds were very comfortable and as there are no adjoining buildings the night was very quiet and I couldn’t hear any road traffic at all. This inn is 8 minutes from Alton Towers and 30 minutes from Trentham monkey forest so the location is perfect.

Warm friendly welcome by Margaret and colleagues. Cheap and cheerful! You get what you pay for! Room very clean/tidy and very close to the Alton Towers resort. Breakfast - full English with healthier options - very nice :) Good selection of drinks from the bar and our meals each evening were delicious! Thank you :)

We booked a family meal for 23 people after visiting Alton Towers theme park. When we arrived the place was nicely lit and fires were warming the bar. We had a private room which was well appointed. Margaret and her staff were friendly and very helpful. The food which was a carvery of turkey and beef complete with great veg and all the trimmings followed by apple crumble and was served in perfect time. We all enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return. Thanks to everyone for making our day perfect

I stayed here whilst attending a dance festival at the conference centre in Alton Towers. Upon arrival there was a problem with my booking in which Margaret sorted for me straight away so there was no hassle. All the staff were very welcoming friendly. Rooms were clean & just enough for what I needed for my stay. Easy access to Alton Towers for anyone staying near by.

My family and I had an overnight stay at Peakstones inn the night before a day at Alton Towers. The staff and owners are so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The views are absolutely beautiful. We had dinner and breakfast and the food was cooked to perfection, good portions and reasonable price. We stayed in a chalet separate from the main building. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Our chalet was equipped with tea station . Tv, drawers and cupboards and bedside lamps. Bathroom was a good size with working shower and plenty of clean fluffy towels, shower and had wash. The selling point for me is the main building (pub and dinning). It is decor is stunning sticking with a traditional country style complete with roaring fire places and wooden beams. Our nights entertainment consisted of a few games on their unique spinning round pool table. A wonderful place to stay as a family or even for a romantic getaway away from the city. Can’t wait to stay again.

My son and I had a room in the main building as did my friend and her son. As other reviews have said, you can hear people playing pool downstairs but this stopped at 10pm. The pub is only open to hotel guests at the moment but we chatted to to others and found everyone to be friendly enough. There's so much atmosphere and we loved being in a "proper pub" the type we used to travel too in our teens to find. Cosy, charming and atmospheric and not like the "plastic" pubs of today. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and tidy and met all our needs (we didn't need WiFi or the TV). Margaret is an amazing lady doing the breakfasts which are delicious and set us up for the day and Zoe and her family couldn't do enough for us either. I recommend the home made chill too! We will definitely stay here again instead of the budget hotel we have in the past.
