We stayed here for the weekend as we were going to the local Uttoxeter races. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the rooms were so comfortable and beautifully furnished. Food both breakfast and dinner delicious. All the staff really friendly and helpful. Cannot praise highly enough we will definitely be returning.

Stayed for two nights in this amazing small hotel. We had two day passes for Alton Towers so stayed Sunday and Monday nights with our son, daughter in law and three year old grandson. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated with very tasteful en-suites. We ate both nights in the restaurant. The menu was varied and the food was well presented...

We've frequented here quite a few times. The beer garden is great to sit for drinks and the restaurant serves nice home cooked food and will bend the menu to suit if not too busy which adds a personal touch. Parking is limited but there is place for the kids to play and a variety of seating outside. If walking...

Booked this pretty little place to have lunch with my family before a visit to Alton Towers. Perfect place to stop as very close to the Theme Park. Pulled up in the car park and thought it was a beautiful little place and equally pleased when we got inside. Very cosy and inviting. We were served by a male waiter...

We stopped of for a meal today, without doubt the meal was what we expected, in one word `excellent`. The staff were polite and sociable , there was just one problem, the music that was played was to loud, it should have been back ground music. When people go for a meal they expect to hold conversations with their friends...

Stayed for two nights in the Lodge room. Sandra was an extremely helpful host and made us feel very welcome. We ate both nights in the hotel restaurant and the food and service were excellent. In addition to this, the breakfast (included) was very varied, with the cooked food, cooked there and then, so very hot and tasty. Our room...

Stopped for a drink after a visit to Alton Towers. Beautiful location however service was absolutely shocking, the staff there are rude and ignore you and if they do notice you take ages to serve you.

We were really stuck for somewhere that eat. We phoned at very short notice and they got us in. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Children are welcome, and there's an extensive kids menu. Would recommend.
