The owners are very helpful and welcoming. They make a huge breakfast with anything you could imagine on your plate, plus more. Bed is comfortable and set in one of their 300+ year old buildings. The town is quaint with loads of history. They leave you a snack and tea bags for an afternoon tea and they have spots to...

It was a total pleasure to look after these guests. Having such friendly, funny and easy going visitors to look after was wonderful. It was clear that these guest were making the very most of their time away from home and enjoying a change of scene. We are pleased to know that they enjoyed their stay here, it would be...

A really great review, what kind people! As they say booking a table at a local pub is a good idea, we always recommend it. Bed and Breakfast is what we do so we're delighted so know that beds were comfortable and breakfast was enjoyed, that's what it's all about! We hope to see these guests again soon.

We need a place to stay just for one night after a long drive prior to going to Alton Towers the following day. It was a lovely stay in a gorgeous B&B with a friendly welcome. The room was super and the breakfast was delicious (and vast!). I would definitely come back when we next visit Alton Towers. Thank-you!

Thanks to these super guests for their kind comments. We are friendly folk (even if we say so ourselves!) and enjoy welcoming visitors to our home so, we're glad these guests received a cheerful greeting. Knowing that this couple liked the room, breakfast, our location and their visit to Alton Towers is great. The comments about photographs not doing our...

Perfect location for visiting Alton Towers being minutes away in the car. We had two rooms booked - family room in main house & double room in the stables. Both were a great space with everything you would need for a comfortable two night stay. Both rooms were very clean, very good beds with quality linen. After returning from our...

A great review, thank you. Lovely to know that everything was clean, comfortable and tidy for these visitors. Breakfast is really important, it's great to hear that everyone in this family enjoyed the first meal of the day. Not sure what anyone did before WiFi! We came to Alton towers for the weekend and stayed in this beautiful place. The owners were a delight, so lovely and with great sense of humour. We've received all necessary information about the rooms, surroundings and breakfast which was very useful. I loved little notes in the room and at breakfast which showed how well organised everything is. The...

I couldn't recommend this B&B enough. Absolutely beautifully located and superb service from the moment we arrived. The owners had some top quality banter, which made us feel at home straight away. We stayed in Room 8 which is in "The Stables", the personal touches in the room were amazing and we really felt cosy and relaxed. If we do...
