Gorgeous quaint spot in town. Had a walk around town was like stepping back in time, from the old church to the old pubs and high street. Lots of short or long walks down to the beach or around the headland, perfect place to waste a weekend away with beautiful friendly accomodating host's. Breakfast next morning was a treat, local...

Just spent three nights at this accommodation and it was superb. Immaculately clean, Chris and Clare could not do enough for us. Breakfast was probably one of the best we have ever had, with the freshest, tastiest ingredients. We will definitely be coming back, and hopefully soon. Highly recommend The Cottage

We had possibly one of the most challenging bookings that Chris and Clare had had to deal with as we were part of an extended family group staying in Porlock for a family wedding. Various family arriving and departing on different days may have put off a lot of property owners but from the very start of our enquiries Chris...

Stayed here one night whilst on walking trip in Exmoor. A little bit of luxury and a bath as well as a shower in our bedroom at the back of the house. Room was quiet, very comfortable and hosts really friendly.

Staying in Chris & Clare’s Cottage is the best you can expect when you’re tourist or traveller. The welcome is heartwarming, the helpfulness of them both endless, from being invited to a DuckRace, to bringing and hauling to or from nearby places, arranging longrange taxi’s, or providing a safe haven for the car to be parked when you’re on a...

My recent visit to The Cottage was one of the best holiday that I have had. My room (Nº 3) had a huge bed with an on-suite bathroom and also a sitting area with a sofa to enjoy my morning coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this B & B not only for the cleanliness but also for the...

There was also a sitting room for the guests. We had a nice dinner in the local pub, nearby. Chris or Claire will advise you, and even make a...

We stayed at the Cottage as part of our walking holiday and of all the places we stayed it was easily the best and the cheapest as it happens. Beautiful food in an elegant dining room in the morning and a spotlessly clean and comfortable bedroom up to date and contemporary yet in an old historic building. At least 5...

I was visiting Porlock with a friend from France , so with the idea of improving the British image with our near neighbours i was hoping for something perhaps a little bit special for my three nights stay . I was not disappointed , on arriving Chris and Clare immediately made us welcome , just what we needed after a...
