Since our last visit to Rose Bank, the owners have changed. So it was nice to see that the same high standards were being maintained. My wife and I stayed for 15 nights, so it was essential that we were comfortable and that the breakfasts, room and facilities are of a good standard. Right from the start, the new owners,...

Just returned from a 4night stay at Rose Bank. The breakfast was excellent as were the standards of cleanliness. Sue and Chris made us and our dog feel very welcome and we would highly recommend this guest house. It was also a pleasant change to find such a dog friendly village where they welcomed you in pubs so you could...

We booked a 3 night stay at Rose Bank last April with the proprietor John, a really nice, friendly personable chap who understood our needs perfectly. That is to say my hubby has had a neck opp, so we need twin beds for his comfort Also we have a little boarder terrier, so the first floor is nearer to the...

Chris and Sue have only taken over this guesthouse two weeks ago but they had already been sourcing their breakfast ingredients from the local stores. They were also more than helpful and welcoming when we arrived exhausted from a long journey, and on the second day when we returned wet and bedraggled from a day's walking. I'm sure the sun...

We found this a lovely place to stay when we were walking the South West Coastal Path. The proprietors were really nice and my room had a wonderful shower with jacuzzi style jets (great after a 9 mile walk!). It is centrally situated and there is a good pub (The Castle) nearby where we had a great drink and meal.

Stayed here overnight as a direct result of favourable online reviews and they weren't wrong. Excellent welcome from the proprietors and really great service . Even changed the location of our room to one with a better view when they discovered that we liked to " stargaze." Breakfast is plentiful and top- notch . You won't be disappointed. Highly recommended

We could not have been made to feel more welcome by the hosts / owners of this beautifully kept guest house. The location is great, Porlock is situated in the heart of Exmoor and a short 15min drive from Minehead. The village has a couple of nice pubs and restaurants so the fact that the B&B does not provide evening...

This was our first stay at this guest house and we had a lovely time. The breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice, but needed to be pre-ordered the night before. This could be inconvenient for some people who may change their mind overnight. However, I am sure this would be accomodated, if required. The Guest house is conveniently located...
