Lovely friendly staff.. whom from the booking to the arrival, where always polite and professional. The staff couldn't have been anymore helpful, friendly and genuinely concerned. I have been here on previous events and I must say it has been better previously. The food this time was just ok. It wasn't anything spectacular, the veg was under cooked, and several...

Stayed here recently whilst on business in the area...it's not all good, however it's not all bad! The Good... The steak I had for dinner was soooooo tender, it was fantastic..the Arancini was also good...you clearly have a talented chef. The Bad The internet is a tad intermittent, the ventilation in the bathroom goes on for around 25 minutes, so...

This was a package, two nights to cover the Bridgewater/Petherton carnival, November 2016. This was our third visit to see the carnival. The hotel offered a complete package to accommodate seeing the carnival, which takes approx. 2hrs plus to pass the front of the hotel. Super food, excellent friendly staff. Hotel standard maintained over the past three years we have...

I have stayed in this hotel about 10 times and I must say that It needs upgrading big time everything is dated for the £80 per night they charge I do think that they will get away with it all day long Because of the Hinkley power station being built near there. The internet is a struggle the baths are...

Thank you for your comments, it goes without saying that we hope to make everyone's stay with us enjoyable, it is true that some of our bathrooms are in need of upgrading, and we are in the process of doing this, along with upgrading the decoration in the rooms, soft furnishings and new beds. As for the temperature of the...

My friend and I needed a hotel room late in the day, but every hotel we came to was already booked! Somehow, we got off the M5, and found this gem of a hotel. We went in hoping for a room, but sadly, they didn't have one. That could have been it for my story, but I wanted to put...

We stayed overnight for the Carnival which proceeded along the road fronting the Hotel. We found the Walnut Tree Hotel to be very clean and comfortable with spacious rooms with a nicely appointed Restaurant. In the main, the Staff were very welcoming attentive and polite, however when checking out,the Receptionist ( long blonde hair, wearing spectacles) was extremely rude to a customer which...

Stayed for one night as a base for the Carnival. Check in was quick and efficient. We booked an executive room which was large and very clean. A little dated but all the furnishings were of the highest quality. We went to the bar for a drink before going into Bridgewater for the Carnival. The barman had a great sense...

A group of us four cyclists stayed here for two nights in August when we cycled from Tiverton to Glastonbury. We had a most enjoyable ride along the canals but a rather unwelcoming 'greeting' by a grumpy receptionist when we arrived at about 5pm. We wondered if we had arrived at Fawlty Towers by mistake. The hotel is very pleasant...

Very nice Having travelled along the Motorway for quite a number of hours and feeling a bit hungry, we decided to take the next turning and find somewhere to have a bite to eat. Purely by chance, it happened to be the Walnut Tree Hotel in North Petherton which has been awarded 3 AA* which, from our experience, is certainly...

Stayed at this hotel for two nights whilst working in Bridgwater. My room was spacious however it was an executive room and the facilities were in line with what you expect these days. Just a couple of little niggles. The ironing board provided in the room was pretty useless, the shower took a long time to get to temperature and...
