We stayed at Streathcombe Farm for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. Ian and Karen were delightful hosts and breakfast, cooked by Ian, was delicious. Our room was not the biggest but it was comfortable and extremely clean, the bath was the longest ever! When we arrived we were offered tea/coffee and cake, unfortunately there was no decaf tea...

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was delightful. Breakfasts and dinner in the conservatory were delicious - and we couldn't have asked for a more lovely setting, looking out over sunny farmland and watching the guinea fowl scrabble around while we dined. Our bedroom & bathroom (we were in the Stable) were comfortable and nicely appointed, and Karen...

Our second time at Streamcombe. Spent three nights and as before our stay was a very pleasurable one. Ian and Karen always make you feel so welcome, offering refreshments upon arrival. We stayed in the Hayloft room which feels very luxurious with a comfortable bed, sofa, changing area, small outside space, but best of all was a huge roll top...

This was a return visit for myself and the first time my husband and sons visited Streamcombe. Karen and Ian give you a warm welcome in this fantastic rural retreat where you truly can escape and relax from the bustle of everday life. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and of a very high standard. Ian's cooking is delicious...

We stayed at Streamcombe for the weekend, and took part in Ian's cookery class on the Saturday. We were welcomed, made to feel at home and fed amazingly well throughout. The cookery class, a fish course, was fun, informative and delicious. Our room was lovely, the setting beautiful, and the weather perfect (although perhaps this wasn't arranged by Ian and...

No, Karen is very kind about keeping the chickens quiet until a sociable time, don't worry!! This is a wonderful Exmoor oasis a couple of miles from the delightful...

We arrived to be greeted by Foghorn the rooster and his wives, and then by Karen and Ian.All were very friendly and made us feel welcome imediately. Tea and cookies were very welcome after our drive from Cornwall and a walk on Exemoor. Room was very comfortable and perfectly big enough for us. The bed was so comfortable....I needed a...

We stayed at Streamcombe for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and a rare weekend without the children. It was recommended by friends for its amazing food and it didn't disappoint. We received a warm welcome with a pot of tea and a slice of lemon cake on arrival before settling into our comfortable room The Valley. Despite being the smallest room...

Went on a cookery course here run by Ian and even though I have been cooking for a long time I learnt so much, his knowledge and enthusiasm for cooking was infectious and so much was crammed into a day without ever feeling rushed or missing out on anything. The B&B itself was immaculate and so peaceful, breakfast with eggs...
