At the end of a well maintained country track is the delightful Streamcombe Farm B&B, which if you follow the simple instructions very kindly provided by Karen and Ian is very easy to find. Lit by the afternoon sun it's in such a sheltered spot, so much so that afternoon tea in the garden amongst the 'Guinea Foul' was a...

Whilst surfing the net to find somewhere to stay near Dunster we found this hidden gem on the website Canopy & Stars. We spent 2 nights glamping with our puppy in a cute farmers hut with a snug double bed with huge feather duvet and a wood burner that kept us very cosy when lit. With hot shower and toilet...

We had a weekend here whilst I was attending a one day tasting and techniques cookery course. There are 3 letting bedrooms in a stable annexe, we had the ground floor room which was comfortable and very clean. The bathroom is beautiful. The setting is idyllic, with deer and various wild animals wandering about. The cookery course was brilliant and...

We spent 2 nights at Streamcombe farm as a base for exploring Exmoor. On arrival Ian served us tea in the garden with fabulous homemade lemon cake. Our room was tastefully decorated with a gorgeous deep bath perfect for soaking the aches away. We had booked in for evening meal and were not disappointed. Ian is a wonderful cook and...

Super quiet and completely secluded B&B if you like peace and quiet and wonderful food. They have no licence so one takes one's own wine and there's no corkage. Liked it so much we booked for 2016 before leaving.

We spent three days here with two friends recently. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped. We slept soundly, woken only by bird-song and in the anticipation of a splendid full English breakfast. This haven from the rest of the world is in a beautiful location that deserves further exploration. The evening meal was deserving of at least one, if not...

An amazing place for a cooking course. The farm is set in a romantic valley with the bed and breakfast and cooking barn. Alan who ran the course is very informative and has worked in the past with some of the top chefs. We cooked a wide variety of breads and had a lovely relaxed lunch in the conservatory. This...

We were staying for one night en route from the Midlands to Devon and found this little gem of a B&B online. We arrived early and Karen directed us with a map off on a local 4 mile walk across the fields setting off from the corner of their Al Paca-nibbled garden (they also have Guinea fowl and a tame...

Had 2 nights there and cant recommend it more highly, the owners were so helpful with everything and the food was to die for ! Spotless clean throughout and a very high standard. We stayed in the Hayloft which had a terrific bathroom with large roll top bath, and a great shower, good base to drive and visit surrounding areas...
