#1 of 2 hotels in Clevedon
The Walton Park occupies a stunning cliff top location and is charmingly nestled in two acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the Severn Estuary and Welsh Hills. Originally built in the late 19th century, the Walton Park has been sympathetically restored and has now developed into Clevedon's Premier Hotel. Guests can wine and dine in the Victorian splendour of the award-winning Somerset Restaurant and enjoy the breathtaking sunsets over the Celtic coastline. The spacious, lavishly equipped bedrooms, the majority with magnificent views over the Bristol Channel, are individually designed and furnished to a high standard and all complete with freeview colour TV, and complimentary WiFi.

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times over the years. The staff are great and very accommodating. Times are tuff at the moment for hotels but nothing is to much bother for them here. They have handled this pandemic extremely well. Keep it up and hopefully I'll be back soon.

A lovely hotel in a great location. Might be considered old fashioned by some but I felt it was traditional and comfortable. The lounge was great. I’d like to be relaxing there with a drink And a sea view right now.

We stayed here 2 nights to break the journey home. It was the only hotel we had stayed in that had not found a way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. No housekeeping at all. The restaurant menu was very limited and on the Saturday night no special dishes were available. The breakfast was limited eg mushrooms on the veggie breakfast but not on the full English. Basically it was full English a breakfast bap or nothing. On the upside the location was lovely and it is clearly a wedding venue. The views across the Bristol Channel are great and the walks both ways are easily accessible although they do require a level of fitness as on cliffs.

The hotel is perched by the cliff edge which has stunning views. All the staff were so accomodating and helpful. The bedroom we had was of a high standard and had a wonderful large window to look out onto the estuary. The food in the restaurant was excellent even though the portions were far to large to manage! The two nights were very enjoyable and I would not hesitate to book again if in the Clevedon area.

The team here at the Walton Park are incredible! Nothing was too much for them and my wedding was incredible. Thank you so much to everyone. I don’t think we could have asked for a better day. The food was delicious and more than enough. The staff were so so friendly. Thank you all
