This is my 3rd visit. Fantastic room with bath, fridge etc. Very easy and very friendly reception staff. By far the best place to stay in Clevedon and I've tried them all. Plus it's by far the cheapest. Thoroughly recommend
A lovely chalet in a lovely area we arrived after the office had closed on a Sunday evening and as earlier advised the keys had been left in an envelope for us with directions to the chalet. On arrival at the chalet there was parking and I was impressed at how spacious it was it had a lovely comfortable bed a sofa to sit on to watch tv ,a fridge a dressing table and two chairs I loved that it had a bath and a shower and that you could control your own heating which I switched off as it was a hot night The grounds are lovely and it has a lovely fishing lake ,slept really well and had breakfast the next morning which was lovely I will definitely be back
Stayed for a couple of nights in a 2 single bed caravan. For the price it's what you would expect, TV, kettle and a fridge as extra. It was not massive but enough space if you want it for a sleeping place and are out exploring during the day. Lovely quiet place but the only thing for us was the sleeping. The pillows were so thin and the plastic covers over the pillows kept coming out as the pillowcases had no fold over. If you were sat on the bed leaning against the headboard and moved the mattress would slide down. The quilt was very dirty and thin. I think the bedding needs a bit of an upgrade. The place was clean and the restaurant was amazing. Staff at reception lovely and a lovely place just shame the simple things like bedding let them down.
The individual lodges/cabins are great and have anything you could need, including a fridge and a dining table! The bathroom was very very clean and we overlooked a lovely pond which was nice for an evening walk. The restaurant is spacious and offers a selection of classic British dinners as well as a very generous breakfast! There is also a bar situated round the back of the restaurant which offers your traditional pub beverages, nothing too fancy.
After cancellation of planned holidays we were looking for a quiet base to explore this part of Somerset. I have to say on booking it was suggested they were busy but in fact it was very quiet. This didn't impact on us-our chalet/lodge/cabin was spacious and spotless -just what we needed. A large proportion of the holiday homes were obviously privately owned who either stayed at home or kept themselves to themselves. We used Angelinas Restaurant,Village Inn bar a couple of times and although service and food was fine the restaurant was equally quiet .The bar was even less well used and I have to say service could have been better - a little terse and no well stocked.Neverthe less it didn't spoil our trip
