Stayed for one night when we took part in a murder mystery evening. The event was very well done and lots of fun. The hall looks a little tired. The rooms are comfortable but basic. The staff and food are very good.

My children booked a Murder Mystery weekend from 21st to 23rd April for my birthday and what a surprise it was! The hotel is set in lovely grounds and on first appearance the extension on the side doesn't quite match with the older frontage. We were greeted by a lovely warm receptionist who checked us in very efficiently. We went...

Gift from friends. Brilliant massage - highly recommended. Rest of the day in the spa - limited facilities as sauna had blown up. Managed to bring afternoon tea forward though. An amazing afternoon tea - staff very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely use again.

Booked in through work. Lovely grounds - driveway needs some attention - peaceful tranquil setting. Hotel built in the early 1700's - with a '70's style extension to the side. Entrance very historic. I was placed in a room in the '70's block which could have done with updating as I don't think it has been since it was built....

Having read some bad feedback, went as usual with an open mind. On booking in was offered an optional upgrade to a suite. Was able to view both and opted for the boardroom suite. The extra payable was well worth it, a really large suite with comfy red leather seats , large tv with all sky channels and plenty of...

I stayed here twice with my daughter, to and from a visit down south, the ideal in between spot. We stayed in suites both nights and were very comfortable. Nice little touches with homemade biscuits and a pretty good sky TV range, WiFi excellent, streaming quality. The leisure facilities were over and above what I expected, food good with well...
