My wife and I visited this establishment for lunch on Wednesday 12th October. We have been before quite a few times and always liked it. This visit was just as good! Lovely service, lovely ambiance, and lovely food and drink Just excellent! Well done!

originally booked a single room for 2 nights but was very disappointed with it, however when I spoke to reception I was able to 'upgrade' to a double room without too much of an extra cost, this room was very good, all the staff I encountered from reception, waitresses, bar staff and Spa attendants were professional, friendly and so helpful,... Charming Georgian hotel with excellent modern conference/event and spa facilities. We stayed here last weekend whilst visiting a nearby exhibition. Table service at breakfast, excellent quality food. Excellent service from friendly staff. A wedding was taking place in the hotel during our stay, we were concerned this may mean congestion in the dining room during Sunday breakfast. There was no... We have just returned from a 2 day break with friends at the Wynnstay. I have been a regular but infrequent visitor to this hotel for many years and it improves with every visit. Privately owned by the same local family for about 30 years they continue to upgrade and expand the facilities and this visit was no exception with... More

Visited for meal out with work colleagues. Excellent setvice. Very good food. Slightly pricey but compared with Wilson's which is located next door and share a kitchen, its a hundred times better. The crab cakes were really nice and the fillet steak was beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay. Oswestry is a delightful market town and in the centrally situated Church Street you will find the Wynnstay, a coaching inn that dates back to the eighteenth century, where a young Queen Victoria once stayed. Our room was individual in style. It was a large room with a very high ceiling and a... More

Excellent breakfast, staff friendly and genuinely happy in their jobs. Good facilities, spa, swimming pool and gym. Located opposite the park and near to local restaurants and pubs. Room we had was great - good shower, tea and coffee making facilities. It is quite pricey - and I felt the extra charge for parking in the hotel - 5.00 per... More

I visited the Wynnstay in September 2016 with my partner for an overnight spa break. We have stayed here before and the place has always been great. This time though, it has lost its sparkle. Walking from the car park to reception took us along a pathway that runs past the bowling green. The pathway was quite badly littered with... More

My (now) wife and I got married here at the end of August. We chose this venue due to excellent first impressions the very welcoming and attentive staff gave us. The venue is pretty much in the town centre but has the feel of an isolated country manor. We visited the venue for meals and drinks on a number of... More
