Val, the owner is friendly, welcoming and helpful going the extra mile to ensure a relaxing stay. The room (4) was clean tidy and well equipped for a short or long stay. The on suite whilst not the largest was more than adequate very clean with large soft fluffy white towels, shampoo, soap and body wash supplied. Breakfast ( full...

I can highly recommend this B&B, it's within walking distance from the city centre, in a thought after and quiet location. The house is very well kept and the room spacious and very light and comfy. The best thing however was having breakfast with the owners Val and Chris, enjoying homemade raspberry jam and a very nice conversation. I was...

Host and hostess welcoming. House close to town centre, certainly walkable though we took the car. The double room and its en suite are adequate but a little small. The room was very clean and tidy and the en suite had all that was required though I think the sink could have been a little smaller and then the room...

I was welcomed by Chris and Val on arrival. Lovely house. The room, though not large, was comfortable and clean, with ensuite shower room, and good wifi. Good firm double bed. Very quiet neighbourhood with easy parking. Great breakfast too, with home-baked bread and blueberry drop-scones (for which she provided the recipe). Fantastic value. I was working with local volunteers...

My fiancée and I stayed at The Bryn for one night on a visit to Pistyll Rhaeadr (Wales's tallest waterfall). Chris and Val were very friendly with lots of local knowledge for ideas of places to visit. The room was very clean and comfortable with all the usual refinements one would find in a hotel, let alone a B&B. We...

The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. There was an oil heater in the room for when it got cold. The owners could not be faulted. They were very friendly and welcoming and knowledgable of the local area. It has a family feel as you sit around the table with the other guests whilst the hosts are...
