Having been to this pub several times when I've visited Much Wenlock camping I was looking forward to our visit and meal. We booked up for a Saturday night knowing that previously how busy it gets. When we arrived it wasn't it usual bustling atmosphere and didn't seem as busy as on previous occasions. A young waiter attended to us...

They accommodated 18 of our cycling club nicely . A varied menu from a £17-50 fillet steak to traditional fish & chips , a nice selection of starters and desserts . A lovely out door seating area if the weather is good . Service was very good and the food came out all together and piping hot . Would recommend...

I have just returned from a two night stay at The Talbot Inn, Much Wenlock. It was extremely comfortable in the Malt House. I stayed in a double room, en suite with breakfast for £50 per night. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating particularly the lady who served me breakfast each morning. Thoroughly recommended.

We ate outside in the courtyard as the place is only small and we have two labradors. Brie starter excellent, Fish and chips massive and the chilli was first rate. Service welcoming and locals all friendly. Beer good and everything reasonably priced. Take care as they don't serve food on Sundays! A "proper" sort of pub inside with all that...

We've been walking past the Talbot for six years now, because my partner is a vegetarian and they have the menus printed outside and there is NOTHING for vegetarians. So we decided to call in for a drink. To be greeted (once inside) with a blackboard offering FOUR veggie options! Why did they not mention that on the outdoor menu?...

Really a pretty good lunchtime meal here. Quite a popular place which is usually a good sign. Regular things on the menu but with a little bit of their own slant on things, well presented, good staff, sensible prices, what else do you need. Well done.

Just had lunch at this fabulous little pub. It is a traditional pub serving an excellent pint of Bass. The steak pie was full of meat and was a proper homemade pie (not a puff pastry lid on braised meat), the cod goujons were excellent. We are moving a bit closer so I am sure it will be a regular...
