This was a fantastic location for our purpose of visiting the Wychwood brewery. The rooms were excellent an we were even able to check in a few hours early as the room was ready. The owner was such a great guy an his breakfast was amazing. I was so full I needed a lie down lol. The quality ingredients also...

Cracking little place, nice rooms, brilliant breakfast, Richard was massively accommodating - we were made to feel very welcome. The area is great for little pubs too (we ate at the Horseshoes opposite - v nice) and even a little live music if you look hard enough. Great place to stay for an impromptu weekend break.

Visited there for one night. Richard the owner welcomed me even though I arrived a little late and showed me to my nice and Cosy room. Slept like a baby and woke up only to eat a huge breakfast with all you need to survive a day and maybe even more! Great place, Great people that redefine the word hospitality...

An excellent guest house with proprietor Richard most welcoming and helpful in every way. Room was comfortable with good facilities and next day we had a very good breakfast again with Richard meeting all needs. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting a day or two in a lovely part of the world

Stayed on the top floor. Nice comfortable room. Bathroom was a bit grubby but fine. Plenty to eat for breakfast (which was buffet style - perhaps due to there being several guests in for the Easter weekend). The host seemed very busy indeed! Slept well and it served its purpose. This is an above average B&B in a good location...

Keeping this short and simple: a couple of minutes walk into the centre of this pretty, market town; clean; reasonably priced; affable host; generous hearty breakfast. Better value than many of the chain hotels at the same price. Street parking was surprisingly easy. Unfortunately, we weren't allocated a four poster room but we were comfortable and warm. Bathroom was compact...

The hosts were very pleasant. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast had plenty of choice and was cooked well. The rooms were not cleaned to a very high standard: dust on the radiator and in corners, the odd hair in the bathroom. Convenient location.
