We stayed here just after our wedding for a minimoon. It is possibly the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The food was absolutely fantastic (we ate in the Thai restaurant). The room we stayed in was amazing, the bath at the end of the bed was definitely the highlight. We had such a good time and we will...

We stayed as a treat for a big birthday, having done quite a bit of research and getting a VERY good deal with a voucher. The main reception is very quirky and cool. We weren't able to sit on the terrace as it was raining, so we were given a glass of champagne and escorted to the bar, which was...

This hotel is very quirky. If you want an experience to remember this is it. From the check in on the red bus to the moment you leave the service is excellent- always checking everything is okay for you. Went here on Groupon deals for my husbands birthday. Included a bottle of champagne in room and a meal in Thai...

The Crazy Bear is approximately 8 miles away from Oxford so quite easy to get to. There is a large car park behind the hotel itself and the hotel is set within a large farm area with a farm shop and cafe. The quirkiness starts when you check in as the reception is set inside an old London double Decker...

Three of us had a wonderful Christmas Day lunch at this most unique venue. The initial experience on arrival is quite stunning with lovely garden filled with a mix of Thai and British "decor" - there's even a Red London Bus which is the Hotel Reception! Christmas Day was busy, but the food and service was faultless. Particular thank you...

We had a great deal via Groupon and overall enjoyed the stay but we where allocated room 13 in the original hotel and found that you could only get out of one side of the bed in a double room. We were not advised of this and the reception just said there where no other rooms so not very helpful...

Visited with my wife for lunch after viewing their online lunch menu with 3 courses for £19.95. Our first impression was that the restaurant is in need of a make over. Upon receiving the menu from the waiter, it became clear what half the menu had a £7 surcharge that wasn't on the same online menu... We both ordered the...

We got a deal through secret sales which included 1 nights stay, bottle of champagne, 3 course meal and breakfast. Rally enjoyed our stay and the copper bath in the room was amazing. Worth it if you have a deal but definitely would never pay full price for the room only as it isn't worth it.

We had my wife's 50th birthday party in this establishment. To be honest,k the food was superb, the service was great and the staff were lovely and welcoming. It was Sunday lunchtime and we say happy birthday to my wife, and a couple of women look down their nose at us and made a comment and asked to be moved....
