Visited the Wild Rabbit for our annual pre Christmas lunch,5th year.Saturday,14 th Dec. Where were all the old staff ? Didn’t recognise anyone,12 noon ,place praticly empty.Sat in pub side because of our dog,rushed to order by waitress,explained waiting for friends,asked to order as soon as they arrived.Prices have gone up since last year.Food okay,not great.Last visit I think,shame,used to be so good.
We went with friends for a pre Christmas treat. Very innovative menu. Great friendly service. The restaurant is beautifully arranged with lots of room between tables. The prices are high but commensurate with the menu offered. Not a place we can afford to visit more often but the experience was worth it.
“Owl” is a small, but attractive, room; well thought out and well equipped off a courtyard to the rear of the pub. Reception staff were welcoming and informative. This room is probably the quietist, as it is furthest from the pub.
I’m not sure where to start...it was just all so beautiful with no detail untouched in all the public spaces. Without a doubt, the BEST breakfast I have had ever!!! We also made a reservation in advance for dinner one night and it was excellent. Lovely staff! We reserved a
Back for the second three night stay this year with our well behaved Spaniel ! Already booked the next visit. Warm,Friendly, comfortable and good food with nice walks locally. Love the Cotswolds.Always visit their organic farm shop,Daylesford Farm, on the way home to stock up .
