Great lodge, spacious and really private and peaceful. However if you arrive and it's dark it's a nightmare trying to find your lodge as the map just doesn't cut it!! Bring a torch and be prepared to get out of your car to look at the lodge numbers that are so inadequately lit. Good facilities in lodge, it's great you... More

This is the second time we have been here. We were having a midweek break and once again found it the ideal place to relax and unwind. The accommodation is great. It is comfortable and relaxing. The spa bath is a great way to unwind. It is a peaceful site and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Really great lodge, spacious comfortable & clean with a touch of luxury, hot tub was fantastic as was the jacuzzi bath and walk in shower... (althought it didn't drain well and the tray nearly overflowed on two occasions)... Other than that I can't fault anything...beautiful lodge to relax in

We only booked this destination with Hoseasons a couple of days before we left and received a call the day before we set off advising us that our lodge was unavailable due to maintenance reasons and were offered an alternative lodge that we felt we had no alternative but to accept. The lodge we received (Norton Plus No 29) was... More

Can't fault the staff and location. It's lovely and peaceful, birdlife plentiful (take some seed with you to feed them) and the lodges are big and warm. However the bedrooms are looking out of date and the mattress in our room (cupid lodge 19) was well past it's sell by date and not great to sleep on. Refresh the bedrooms... More

The service at check in was very professional and friendly. This is our sixth visit and some of the Staff know us which makes it even more personal when they welcome you. Cupids Lodge is ideal for a couple with all the right settings and furnishing you require for your stay. It is spotless and the hot tub was great.... More

My boyfriend and I had a great weekend for my birthday. The staff were really friendly and gave us some nice tips on local places to visit. The lodge was nicely decorated and clean. We would definitely go back.

The lodges are well laid out and very cosy. We booked a lodge ( sleep 4) and the stables (sleep 6) . Both were lovely but I preferred the lodge. The hot tub at the lodge was better for my mother in law (80) as she could step down into it, whereas the hot tub at the stables you climbed... More
