First impression good went downhill after that. We were visiting for a wedding (not at hotel). Fri end whose daughter getting married checked out hotels to stay in. She was assured hotel disabled friendly. Another friend whose husband is disabled arrived. Yes given a room on ground floor with shower but that is where the disability part finished. No grab...

Never having been here before we booked for lunch last Sunday and took one of our daughters with us.The Sunday roast was delicious and the portions very generous. The weekend break had been given to me as a Wowcher present which had a time limit on it and the staff were extremely helpful getting dates organised so that we could fit it in. The room was very spacious with an ensuite bathroom - only gripe was that the shower was not very powerful. The meals that we had...

We purchased this as a Wowcher spa deal ~ that proved not to be a spa deal. Some misleading advertising led to this disappointing 2 night break. My mistake, I should have read the deal details far more carefully & checked the website. But honestly,we found the whole experience flat and a bit uninspiring. The hotel is small and 3...

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel staff are attentive and friendly and the hotel itself is peaceful, quiet and is in lovely surroundings. The real highlight is the food, it was exceptional. Highly recommend the Asparagus with poached duck egg and pancetta for starters and the fillet steak as a main. The scrambled egg and full English breakfast...

Booked two classic rooms last minute for an overnight stay. It is in the countryside yet a short drive to all the local attractions especially the Bicester shopping mall. My double room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The other room, a twin, was a good size too. Very comfortable beds and pillows which meant we slept well and...

5 people went for Afternoon Tea on a deal of £12.50 per person. This included a glass of Prosecco each. The venue is nice. Staff were pleasant and the scones and Prosecco was lovely. Plenty of free parking. A year ago my family celebrated an anniversary here, with friends and family. This included servings of Afternoon Teas which were plentiful,...

We have recently spent a two night wowcher break at this friendly hotel and would recommend highly.
