Four couples went to seahouses to see the 'puffins' and stayed at the Old Ship Inn. The rooms were excellent and well appointed though different standards which we did know before arriving. The breakfasts were tasty and varied, the staff accepting our different likes and dislikes with good nature. We ate one dinner and enjoyed it as tasty, hot and... More

Great stay here, very cosy, loved the location! Made to feel very welcome and just couldn't knock the place. Breakfast was great as was the immediate walk on the beach afterwards. The bar is great and so cosy.

stayed recently at the ship inn in the bungalow it was described as overlooking the beer garden but it was in the middle of the beer garden. heavy duty net curtains so we could not see the view out to sea because the nets were to stop the beer garden looking in on us.meals were no great passable but that's... I had a meal here with my boyfriend on a sunny evening and they have a large beer garden with fantastic sea views. Prices were good and the meals came with a side dish of mixed vegetables which made a nice change to usual restaurants. Fun and interesting decor inside with lots of interesting information and pictures about the area.... More

We called in here as everything in Seahouses seemed to be closed. There is a nice view from this pub but the pub itself is very basic. Its quite old fashioned and we found it had no real atmosphere. Beer selection was good and I would recommend the Alnwick Rum

Very pleasant stay at The Olde Ship Inn. Breakfast is cooked to order and includes local kippers. The rooms are all different and we had a four poster bed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a car park which were able to use. There is a quaint residents lounge with a free pool table.

This place was fine. We needed somewhere late on one night and paid £90 odd for the room. I've stayed in much nicer places; the décor was dated and the shower was tricky to turn off. It was great to have a bath though. My husband's full English was good but the kippers were rank (I fed them to my... More

This place is amazing - it's a proper old-fashioned pub (though we never managed to find a seat in the little main bar at the front, it being full of locals every night), but behind that it's a maze of corridors and cosy little rooms, stuffed to the brink with antiques and curios like the Old Curiosity Shop; there's some...
