Stayed here Friday 24th October and will be back soon. Lovely cosy guesthouse, room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Jane is a great host and did everything to make us feel so welcome and comfortable. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Arrived at this wonderful b+b to be greeted by Jane busy ironing and mark her husband. We were shown to a beautiful room overlooking the gorgeous garden. Social distancing all In place. Everything was great, a list on local places to eat. The closest William De Percy. We soon settled in. Next morning we had a wonderful breakfast served by Pam. I soon settled into the lovely sitting room, knitting and watching tv. Anyone wanting a wonderful place to stay could not do any better. You will not be disappointed .

Fantastic place done out to a very high standard. Owners Mark and Jane are very friendly and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean with some lovely touches like a doggy welcome pack for our little pooch. Access from the rear garden takes you to a short but beautiful walk along the river but there are some great walks from the guesthouse where maps are available or even longer walks in the nearby hills which we explored. Breakfast is top notch with plenty refills of tea and coffee if you wish. A great place to stay and we will return, especially in the winter as we've been told that it's a great place for the dark Northern skies. Thank you.

We stayed here as our last night of a Scottish motorcycle tour, and we all commented on it being the nicest of all the places we had stayed on our travels. The owners were very friendly and welcoming... our room was plush, modern and beautifully furnished.... with a hug bathroom and shower. Gorgeous cooked breakfast in the morning and off we went! Great! I would defo go back there! Update: I left a phone charger there... messaged them and they popped it in post for me the very next day. Wouldn’t let me pay for the postage even. Lovely people!!! 👍🏻😃 thank you again! 🙏🏻
