Read the reviews here and all will comment on Vee's excellent breakfasts. The surprise for us was being offered freshly stewed rhubarb from Vee's allotment to eat with our cereal. I had never had such a combination before but it was delicious. As was the scrambled egg with smoked salmon, the full English, and the kippers. As much tea as...

Vee and Tim were wonderful hosts and ensured my week's stay was pleasantly memorable. I was both collected from and delivered to the local station, served delicious breakfasts and my room included all the amenities I could possibly require. In addition, the couple have an extensive knowledge of the local area and can recommend sightseeing destinations. I would highly recommend...

Nine years ago when walking past Tim and Vera's guest house two young women came out the entrance laughing. My husband and I stopped them and asked how they enjoyed their visit. The reply was that Vera was a great cook and they had enjoyed their visit. we were looking for somewhere to stay so contacted Tim and Vera and...

Have been staying at this very good B&B since July due to work commitments. And found it very good value for money. Have stayed in other accomodation in the area which was more expensive but did not have a homely feel or very friendly hosts. Vera makes a great breakfast and nothing is too much bother. Cottingburn house also offers...

I have stayed in Cottingburn House B&B for 17 months now working on an important project for the local community in the area. I Cannot fault the B&B on anything: It’s the only B&B in the area with its own off street secure car parking also unlimited Wi-Fi; the food is excellent, freshly prepared and sourced locally (fresh free range...

Cannot fault the attentiveness and warm welcome from the 2 hosts, a lovely couple who were so keen to help in any way, and the breakfasts were fantastic, with good parking and situation - thank you! BUT sorry to say we totally agree with a reviewer back in August 2013 regarding the room quality. Although mostly lovely and clean and...

I'm choosing this B&B to write my first ever review because it was fantastic! We loved our overnight stay in the twin room with the balcony, which was clean, cosy and reasonably priced given the excellent location of the property. We enjoyed a 10minute walk along the river into the centre of Morpeth to eat dinner and came back via...

Vera and Tim were fantastic and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and pleasant. Great breakfast was served to us early in the morning before we headed off to start work. The b&b was cosy and welcoming with all the comforts to make our stay pleasant. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended.

Vera & Tim were great hosts, we stayed in the hotel on business & booked last minute. There was plenty of parking as we were in the works van. We stayed for one night & had a very peaceful nights sleep. We also enjoyed the breakfast in the morning, it was good quality food with plenty to eat. Tea &...

Extremely friendly Vera & Jim couldn't do enough for you. The most amazing breakfast. Wouldn't hesitate to return. The Town Centre only 5 minutes away is lovely. There are some great shops and a lovely park and river walk.
