A quiet, warm and welcoming find. Ricky is an attentive host. The house was easy to find and the on-line description was accurate. The comfortable room was very well appointed - real coffee, bottled water, bathrobe etc. Thanks

We followed a sign on the main road to find this place and got a lovely surprise. Spacious room with everything provided. Only a couple of miles down a little country lane to the pub for dinner, great atmosphere. Then breakfast was in a lovely sunroom overlooking farmland.

What a gem!! My partner and I returned to beautiful unspoilt Northumberland for an Easter break and we were again not disappointed. Ricky runs Northumberland Cottage B and B with old-fashioned hospitality, individualism and attention to detail which is so rare in our culture of sterile chain hotels. Room and bed very comfortable and welcoming. Delicious home cooked breakfast, accompanied...

Fantastic stay. Attic room lovely views, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Breakfast great, especially choice and fresh fruit. Loved Ricky to bits, lovely man, liked a bit of banter. He was helpful giving us directions and ideas of where to get a meal etc. Nice rural quiet setting. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Spent a night here as we had travelled for a wedding at Eshott Hall. The owner (Ricky) was very helpful and a genuine nice guy helping from the start with the booking right through to even dropping us off at Eshott hall in his own car. Rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds and nice En suite. Breakfast was great and...

Stayed for one night and had a comfortable stay. Everything is as has already been said on recent reviews. i particularly liked the range of fresh fruit available at breakfast. The one thing i didn't realise was that it isn't in a village or town, and there's no public transport, so we had to drive to get a very good...
