I'm back in berwick working again so I stayed with Ian and Sandra again as they always make me feel very welcome. Sadly this time I was working days so having to get up at 4am for work I was unable to have one of Ian's amazing full English breakfasts he did however make me some nice sandwiches which I...

Received a warm welcome from Sandra on arrival. We were quickly sorted out with parking permit and shown to room at the top of the fantastic staircase. Room 1 was spacious well decorated and spotlessly clean. Nice touches of bottled water and decent biscuits on the tea/coffee tray. Breakfast was well cooked and presented and served in the dining room...

The plan was to do some sightseeing around town and also to venture onto the coastal paths. Tha Anchorage proved to be a perfect choice. Right on the doorstep for pubs and resaurants but in a very quiet street. In addition the quality of the accomodation was superb. The friendly hosts are knowledgable and proud of their town and its...

I really enjoyed my stay in what is a marvelously preserved Georgian style house, spread across three levels, connected by a continuous sweeping staircase with a showpiece dome at the top! Really has to be seen and admired. The owners were most helpful and friendly, and Sandra's knowledge of local history allowed me to make the most of Berwick's rich...

Stayed here on our tour. Ian and Sandra were fab. The house history and local area. Breakfast, the best I have had on tour. Great people, great place and great fluffy pups. Tell Jake I still adore him! Also, if you like Dr Who or theatre, then have a wee night in the Barrels with them...great chat. Thank you both....

Ian and Sandra were so helpful and were full of information and interesing tales. The house is lovely and cozy with a very bright and welcoming feel. Thanks for letting us use the parking pass on our last day so we could have the time to walk the wall before leaving.

We broke our journey here on our way north. It's an interesting house near the centre of town, evidently once a workshop. The welcome was warm, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. We had the option of a blanket (my wife doesn't like duvets).

Two of us were on a four day cycle which took in Berwick. Really impressed by this town. The owners have renovated this old building in the centre of Berwick and will be continuing that process to create more than the current three rooms. Very comfortable, nicely appointed. A great breakfast. Surprisingly quiet at night. Friendly and attentive hosts. We did...
