We arrived and were immediately offered tea and cake and there was homemade flapjack in our room too- nom! The room was clean and tastefully decorated - couldn't fault it! Great recommendations of places to eat and local area. We'll be back!

What a lovely place to stay. Super-friendly hosts, comfortable room and wonderful food. Lots of little extras to make our visit even more enjoyable. Good location in a pretty village, only a short drive to Bamburgh Castle, Lindisfarne and Seahouses. We will be back! Highly recommended. Beautiful rooms and exceptionally friendly hosts. Excellent dinner, excellent breakfast and delicous homemade jams, marmelade, granola and much more. Great for hiking, and you learn a lot about British History and culture

A lovely welcome on our arrival from Steve and Amanda after a very long drive. The green room was very clean and comfortable lots of home comforts and nice touches "home made flapjacks". A lovely homely guest house. Wonderfull weekend Break Realy Welcoming Hosts.Wonderful Breakfast.Clean Comfortable Room.We were given option of upgrade room as no other guests were booked in on this weekend.We Realy enjoyed the little extras,cake and Flapjack to go with the good selection of tea&scoffer in our room.

A wonderful welcome from Steve and Amanda, who could not of been more helpful. Our bedroom was tastefully decorated (the Red Room) with a coffee machine and delicious cherry flapjacks.
