Staff at the Mizen Head could not have been more friendly or accommodating and nothing was too much bother, we would have stayed another night (stayed 2 nights) but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked Ate at the restaurant one of the nights and the food was lovely...breakfast was in the bar area and the tables could have done with...

Our family of 6, which included my husband and I my Mum and Dad and our 17 year old and 14 year old, went here on Sunday for lunch. The Mizen Head is a lovely hotel, with a good sized car park and very modern but very comfortable surroundings. We all had 2 courses which were deilicious. The main courses...

We visited this very attractive hotel twice for lunch. Both days were lovely and sunny so we ate outside. The fish platter was superb with pates, smoked fish, crab claws and langoustines all served on a wooden platter with artisan bread. Penne in cream with smoked salmon was also super. Lovely service and amazing knives!!

We'd stayed in Bamburgh a couple of years ago and had noticed this hotel. My girlfriend booked us in for a bank holiday weekend. Location is good, you can easily walk to the castle and beach in about ten minutes. Our room was a very good size with two bathrooms (ok,shower rooms). Nice views across the fields, good size TV,...

My wife and I dined here one evening when holidaying in the area. Very pleasant airy dining room and the two male waiting staff were very helpful and professional. After ordering oysters, the waiter returned to inform me that the chef had opened a dozen or so and was not happy with the quality. I was naturally disappointed, but also...

I booked two superior rooms for three nights in the hotel costing £110 per night each, check in was very efficient, and we were shown up a private staircase leading to our rooms (5 & 6). Rooms were average size, and were nicely decorated, however there were a couple of holes in the walls where something had obviously been moved...
