Great value for money hotel. Kids love the indoor and outdoor play areas. Good location set against the lake. Make sure you visit the Wooodhorn Mining Museun situated around the lake. There is even a train to take you there from the hotel.

The hotel was a typically in a weird location. For me as a birdwatcher it was great to see the lake and some nice species. Room was nice but there was a constant fan noise which made sleeping a bit difficult, and no opening window so a bit stuffy.I think for the price they should offer a money off voucher...

From booking in to check out this is one of the best Hotels/Inn I have stayed in. The rooms were clean and fully air conditioned, the beds were perfect and the large screen TV finished the room off. The lake outside with all the wildlife perfect. Going back in August.

The room was lovely and spacious and the en suite was of high standard. However I barely slept because there was a persistent humming/whirring noise in my room. At first I thought it was the heating but I turned that off and realised it was something else. The noise kept increasing/decreasing and was most prominent around 5am which was extremely...

We booked here as we were visiting family. Great experience and the beds are so comfortable. Although road side there was little noise and the rooms were of a good size. Premier breakfast was superb on both das and the bar was quiet but friendly. Will stay again

It's a very long time since we visited the lakeside, so my Wife and myself decided to make a return visit. I must say we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received by the young member of staff who showed us straight away to a clean table. We tried the special menu and the food was delicious with...

Decent location for an overnight visit to Northumberland. Family room was quite expensive as we usually try and get a deal. Y booking more in advance. Room was standard although quite. Old and unable to control using thermostat. Restaurant adjoining was poor quality, dim and dirty - one to avoid.

Excellent Premier Inn services and facilities as usual, but with the added benefit of the Country Park location....the details say it's next to a main road, however this is not a problem because it's also on the edge of the park and noise is not noticeable at all. We will definitely be staying here again.

I tend to 'live' in premier inns, utilising them heavily for business travel. And this is quite a decent one, if a little remote if you are looking for nightlife, shopping etc. Staff are friendly, as is the premier inn trademark, and this looks like quite a new build, with the approach to the carpark being through a dusty, flat,...
