Nice room overall, clean and bright. Hotel is rather tired-looking generally and it was a nice surprise to find our room to be so hospitable. Pillows were a little unyielding for me and shower head had been taped up so was not adjustable, but otherwise would recommend, certainly for a short break.

Stayed here in August 2016. The hotel is ideally placed on the edge of town, with good parking and a pleasant walk in to town. Staff and food are both excellent. We attended a large pre-planned dinner which was great all the food arrived quickly and was hot, a rare event when a large group are eating different meals. We... More

A one night stay at The Oaks for our Halloween visit to The Alnwick Gardens and we found it a lovely friendly hotel and would happily stay there again if we head up to Alnwick, the Bed was on the firm side but the Breakfast was great, with plenty of choice, thanks for a lovely stay and hope to see... We visited for a meal and were made very welcome. One of the party was in a wheelchair and they accommodated him easily and without fuss. The food was very good quality and served promptly by friendly staff.

I had pate to start which was a bit of expensive but delicious. Not a huge selection of vegetables with the roast but the meat was delicious, great big Yorkshire pudding and lovely gravy. Nice pub for lunch, we would visit again.

The Oaks Hotel is a few minutes out of Alnwick with easy access and parking facilities. We stayed in room 22 which was clean and comfortable. Good choice of menus at breakfast and evening meals, the food was well cooked/presented with generous portions. The carvery in the evening was delicious and so were the hand pulled real ales. All the... More

The stay was first class and really had a smashing stay. The room was massive and kept clean daily with brilliant shower and bath facilities and heat controlled towel warmer. The staff were super friendly and the pub quiz (Wednesday) was a great laugh too. The meals were absolutely top notch for the money, especially the breakfasts. Great stay
